If the wallet is RFID proof (the contactless element is being protected), then that is the point of the RFID as it is designed to stop the card being read as outlined above. So it should not affect the card.
RFID-blocking wallets are designed to impede your cards' RFID signals, making them harder to read remotely. Tests by Consumer Reports, MakeUseOf, and others have found that some RFID-blocking wallets work better than others. What's less clear is whether RFID skimming is a threat worth worrying about in the first place.

Guidelines For Using The Secrid Wallets
Place your most used card at the front or back of the Cardprotector. Use the card at the back in your wallet for quicker access and making contactless payments without even taking the cards from the card protector. Always make it a point to carry the wallet in your front pocket.RFID blocking. You can use a myriad of materials that are poor conducts of electromagnetism to block RFID waves — just a few sheets of thick aluminum foil will do the trick. Aluminum foil works to block them all; you just may need more foil sheets.
This process is how RFID wallets keep skimmers out and your credit cards safe. It's important to note that for valuable RFID-embedded items to be safe, they must be inside the wallet. Mere proximity next to an RFID blocking wallet (even in the same pocket) will not keep the sensitive information safe!
Carbon Fiber Wallets
The carbon fiber wallet has the distinction of being both our strongest and our lightest wallet, so it's really ahead of the curve in every way. Of course, that also means it's the most expensive, but not by too much: you can snag one of these wallets for $115 bucks.Funny, the article also said that you can purposely fry your RFID chip by microwaving the card, not sure it is recommended though. One thing to note: Since these wallets are lined they can set off the metal detectors at airports and other places.
So yes, move that wallet to the front. And even if you're going to stubbornly keep it in the back, for whatever silly reason? Please, please don't put it in the back pocket of your backpack. That's practically askingfor it to be stolen.

Titanium is stronger than carbon fiber polymer composite. Using one of the strongest fibers (IM7) in a fully uni-directional layup you would be able to almost match the strength of Titanium 6AL-4V which is about 120,000 PSI (120 KSI).
The reason most people prefer minimalist front pocket wallets is that they are lightweight, slim, and easily accessible. The age of big, bulky billfold wallets are over and slim, functional minimalist wallets have taken over because they are a much better choice. They are stylish, practical and comfortable.

Just a rubber band. Take your cards, stack them together, then wrap the cash around them before securing it all tight with a simple rubber band. Voila, the most minimalist “wallet” you can get without having to glue your currencies together.
What I would try, is to soak the wallet (or at least the part where it's been stretched) in warm water, then use an iron on low to smooth it out. This should flatten out the edges where it stretched, and give you a tighter fit. Afterwards, let it dry for a day or so and it should be great.
