Once you are certain you are happy with Photos, & you are certain the Library has migrated successfully, you can delete the old iPhoto app & iPhoto Library if you wish. Deleting either Library will not delete the pictures, only deleting both Libraries will do that.

Adobe installs a software called Adobe Updater with many of its products. The updater will automatically connect to the Internet to check for updates for supported and installed Adobe products. Adobe Updater, that's the official name of the application, will be installed in its own folder on the system.
Windows
- On Windows 8.1/8/7, choose Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
- Select the product that you want to remove, and click Remove or Uninstall.

Clearing just the cache will not get rid of any passwords, but may remove stored pages that contain information that could only be obtained by logging in.
An empty browser cache
An empty cache means there's no confusion. As you visit webpages hereafter, the browser will download fresh copies of everything you see on each page. You've simply forced your browser to rebuild its cache from scratch as it loads or re-loads pages.
