How to send money
- For all sends: Your I.D. where applicable. Your recipient's full name matching their I.D. and their location.
- If sending to a bank account, you also need your recipient's bank name and account number.
- If sending to a mobile wallet, you also need your recipient's mobile number with international dial code.
For a transfer from a bank account or a credit or debit card to a cash pickup location within the U.S. the fee is $49.99 for $1,000. But when you send the same amount of money from a MoneyGram location to a cash pickup by the recipient, the fee is just $20 for $1,000.

Walmart2Walmart ExpansionCustomers can now send up to $2,500 for $18 when using the exclusive transfer service. Previously, the limit was $900. Competitive offerings charge up to $50 to transfer $2,500. Expanding Walmart2Walmart to include transfers to Walmart Mexico stores, powered by MoneyGram.
At Walgreens, you can send a money transfer of up to $6,000 and receive up to $300 per transaction. Compare those limits to a similar service, MoneyGram, which offers online money transfers at a limit of nearly $10,000 per month.
Fees: Sending money domestically to friends and family via a PayPal balance or linked bank account is free. Sending to friends and family, also domestically, via a credit card, debit card or PayPal credit is subject to a charge of 2.9% of the amount sent through this method, plus a fixed fee of $0.30.
A MoneyGram works much like a money order, but it is much faster. The funds you send are normally available to the receiving party within 10 minutes. A traditional money order, such as one purchased from the postal service, may take several days to arrive at its destination.
MoneyGram ExpressPayment is an option for making payments towards a booking or for a guest on board. Payment is processed at agent location within a short amount of time. Carnival's Revenue Accounting is notified of payment via MoneyGram. The transaction is usually received within 15 to 20 minutes.
How to send money online, on mobile or in person

- Zelle: Fastest for domestic transfers (tie with Google Pay).
- Google Pay: Fastest for domestic transfers (tie with Zelle).
- PayPal: Most popular online.
- Walmart-2-Walmart: Best for nonbank transfers.
You just swipe the card and enter your PIN number on a key pad. Debit cards take money out of your checking account immediately. Debit cards let you get cash quickly. You can use your debit card at an automated teller machine, or ATM, to get money from your checking account.
Walmart has been in the international money transfer business awhile now through a partnership with MoneyGram. But Walmart2Walmart is an entirely separate service with the backing of Ria money transfers service.
When sending a money transfer in person from either a Walmart or MoneyGram location, you can only pay with cash or a debit card. You also need to show your driver's license or government-issued ID. Acceptable IDs include state IDs or driver's licenses, U.S. or foreign passports, green cards, or military IDs.

You can send money to yourself if the account is different, otherwise, most core-banking software and switches, do not allow self-looped payments, i.e. you cannot initiate a payment from your bank/account to the same bank/account. If so then bank transfer of course, western union or moneygram.
MoneyGram provides various sending options including the MoneyGram mobile app, debit or credit card, and bank transfers. Money transfers can be started through the app, Walmart MoneyGram online website, or from a Walmart Store. You can send money through a credit card, debit card or by paying with US dollars.
Q: Can I pick up money without an ID? A: As long as the sender used a test question, and the clerk checked the "Pay without ID" box.

Beginning April 24, Walmart will allow someone to send money from one Walmart in the U.S. to another, where it then can be picked up. The transfer takes less than 10 minutes. The fee is $4.50 to transfer up to $50 and $9.50 to send up to $900.
Yes, CVS has money gram. Some have red phones that you just pick up and it will dial the Moneygram service, others have a kiosk.
