To post a live photo to Instagram, you can convert your photos to video or use the Boomerang feature on Instagram Stories. To post a live photo on Instagram, you must be using an iPhone 6s or higher.
How to share your Live Photos
- Open the photo that you want to share, then tap the Share button .
- If you want to share the still photo and not the Live Photo, tap Live in the upper-left corner.
- Choose how you want to share your photo. Note that if you share via Mail, the Live Photo is sent as a still image.
How to make a GIF on an iPhone through the Photos app
- Open the "Photos" app on your iPhone.
- Tap on the Live Photo you want to turn into a GIF.
- Tap and hold the bottom of the photo.
- Slide your finger up to bring up the moving picture menu (Live, Loop, Bounce, Long Exposure).
To upload a Live Photo using the main Facebook app, tap on the “Photo” button at the top of the News Feed. From there, select the Live Photo you want to upload and tap on the “Live” icon at the bottom right. If you do not tap on the “Live” icon before hitting "Post," then just the still photo will be uploaded.
How to Post a Live Photo on Facebook from iPhone
- Open the Facebook app.
- On your Facebook Home, tap on Photo.
- The app will show all your Camera roll images. Select the captured live photo and tap on Done.
- Now, to give the captured image a real 3-dimensional effect. Tap on Make 3D at the top left side of your image.
To turn a static profile picture into a moving one go to your profile and click Edit in the bottom right-hand corner of your existing profile picture. From here you can either Take a New Profile Video, to record a new clip or Select Profile Video.
Creating a collageSimply select multiple photos from your photos section, choose the format, and your images/videos will be grouped together in a nice collage. If you select two, five, or nine images (nine is the max), Alive will stack them in the most effective way, so as to not leave random gaps in your collage.
Here's how:
- Open up the Photos app.
- Choose a Live Photo.
- Tap on "Edit" in the upper right hand corner of the display.
- Using the photo navigation bar at the bottom of the image, tap the thumbnails to browse through the frames captured for the Live Photo.
- If you find a better still, tap on "Make Key Photo" to select it.
When you have a Live Photo open on your phone, put your finger on the screen and swipe up to see the Effects panel, where you have the choice of Loop, Bounce or Long Exposure. Tap an effect to add it to your image. The Loop effect turns your Live Photo into a repeating video.
Tap ?. It's at the top-right corner of the screen. Tap Save. The photo is now saved to your gallery.
Manually Save Photos and Videos From Facebook Messenger on Android. Open a conversation, tap+hold on a picture, then tap Save Image. To access images saved from Facebook Messenger conversations, open your preferred file management app, then tap the Pictures folder.
Facebook Messenger saves photos to $EXTERNAL_STORAGE/Pictures/Messenger . That variable depends on your device, but on mine it is /storage/sdcard0 which is also pointed to by the /sdcard symlink. you have to copy the folder to a directory and rename the . image files to .

You can send photos and videos that are saved to your device's camera roll, or you can take or record a snapshot or video on the fly and send it directly in Messenger. You can do all of this from the conversation screen.

How to automatically download photos on Facebook Messenger
- Launch Facebook Messenger and head to Settings followed by Data & Storage.

Adding An AttachmentWhen editing a message, you can find the "Attach File" button located in the bottom left hand corner of the message editor. Clicking that button will open a window for you to select the file you wish to attach.
Send Multiple Photos On Android Phone
- Open the Photos or Gallery app on your Android Phone or tablet.
- Tap and hold on any photo, until you see check boxes appearing on all photos.
- Select all the Photos that you want to send by tapping on them.
- Now, Tap on the Share icon (See image above)
