The following models are no longer sold, but they still remain within Apple's service window for iPadOS updates:

How to Use Your iPad as Your Only PC. For many folks, your iPad can fulfill most of your laptop's duties. If you're the type that primarily uses your computer to browse the Web, work in word-processing programs or lightly edit photos, you may be able to ditch your laptop entirely.

Safari has a “Request Desktop Site” action, but you have to select it manually. It's likely that Apple is changing Safari for iPad's user agent to claim it's a desktop browser rather than a mobile one. That makes the iPad more powerful—you now get the desktop web rather than an often-crippled mobile one.

A13 Bionic (CPU & GPU)

iPhone 7 uses the Apple A10 Fusion 64-bit system-on-chip, which consists of two low-power cores and two high-power cores (only two cores are used at any point in time).
A13 Bionic Focuses on Sustained Gains in Improving iPhone 11 Pro's Graphics Performance. The GPU on the A13 Bionic is a four-core processing block. It uses a new iteration of the Cupertino giant's custom GPU microarchitecture that claims to provide performance and efficiency gains.
As powerful as the iPhone 11 Pro
Apple uses the same A13 Bionic chip with the same 4GB of RAM in the iPhone 11 as it does in the iPhone 11 Pros. And the iPhone 11 scored virtually the same on Geekbench 5: 1,335 on single-core and 3,454 on multi-core (average of three CPU tests).How to improve gaming performance on iPhone
- Check for updates. While installing the latest OS might slow down an old phone, if you think your phone can handle it, you should go for it.

The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus contain the Apple A11 Bionic system-on-chip, a hexa-core processor that the company says features two cores that are 25% faster than the iPhone 7's A10 processor and four cores that are 70% faster than the prior model.
Sadly, there's no suggestion that the new iPad Pro will get a 4K screen. A 4K iPad would need a display with at least 3840 x 2160 pixels. But last year's iPad Pro screen only had 2732 x 2084 pixels – falling short of 4K.
The base 64GB model of iPad Pro is "enough" for everyday needs, but if you're thinking about doing any video or advanced photo editing, it's likely to feel limiting and iPads don't have upgradable storage, and can't use external drives (yet, anyway).
While I understand that the 2018 iPad Pro 12.9 is a tiny bit smaller than the 2017 model, it's still too big. The iPad Air is hundreds less than the iPad Pro 11 and I could also use my existing first generation Apple Pencil with it.
You can use a mouse over Bluetooth or USB; if you're using the former, you'll have to make sure it's paired. Or, assuming you don't have a USB-C mouse kicking around, you'll need a USB-A to C adapter to plug a regular wired mouse directly into the iPad Pro's USB-C port.
Apple's iPad Pro is only an iPadOS update away from replacing a laptop. Over the past decade, smartphones may have become the primary computing devices for most users, but they haven't replaced the need for laptop or desktop computers — at least, for certain critical purposes, such as content creation.
The 2017 iPad Pro 10.5 is only worth purchasing if it's cheaper than the new $500 iPad Air 10.5, since it's essentially the same tablet, just slower. Older 10-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro tablets are also fine, but we rarely see them at a price low enough to make them a valid choice against the current crop of iPads.
The new waterproof case for iPad Pro features an IP68 rating good for submersion down to 2m (6.6 feet) and offers drop protection from up to 4 feet with the military spec 810G rating.
Future revisions of the MacBook Pro (rumored to launch in 2021) and iPad are said to be using mini-LED screen technology, not OLED, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has a solid track record predicting Apple's moves.
The iPhone 11 and 11 Pro aren't fully waterproof, but are water resistant enough to survive a splash of coffee or get dunked in the pool. According to Apple, the iPhone 11 is rated IP68, which means it's water resistant in up to 6.5 feet (2 meters) of water for 30 minutes.
Water-resistant iPad cases
That means, of the current range, only the iPad mini is supported - the standard 2019 iPad is 10.2in, and we wouldn't risk it in case you can't close the opening - but you'll be use it with a wide range of older models such as the iPad 9.7in from 2017 or 2018 and the old 9.7in iPad Pro.ipad 10.2 inch 7th generation waterproof case
The full sealed 7th genaration ipad case is waterproof, dust-proof, shcokproof and snow-proof.But the recent iPhone 7 is water resistant up to IP67 under IEC standard 60529 which is protected against the effect of immersion between 15cm and 1m. An iPad with such capabilities will be nice at the pool, which is how iPads can be used too.
Both feature a strong and durable aluminum body, though the newer iPad is the first to be made from 100% recycled aluminum. They come in the same three colors: Silver, gold, or space gray. Sadly, there's no mention of water resistance for either tablet.
Water Resistant Doesn't Mean Waterproof
The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are rated as being IP67 splash, water and dust resistant under IEC standard 60529. That means the iPhone 7 can survive being submerged in just over three feet of water for up to 30 minutes.The iPad Pro is expensive, but the additional cost might be worth paying if you'll be using your iPad as your primary computer. Unlike Apple's iPhone lineup, no iPad models are currently waterproof as of March 27, 2018. This includes the "low cost" 9.7-inch iPad, and all iPad Pro models.
