Click the Update Status text field at the very top of the page and start typing in the status that you want to post. Enable Google Chrome's Spell-Check tool. Make a right-click on the Status Update text field and choose “Spell-Check Options” from the pop-out menu.
You can turn of spell check in:
- Tools > Options (Edit > Preferences in Mac and Linux)
- Under the Advanced tab, uncheck "Check my spelling as I type"
How to Turn off Autocorrect on Android
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap System > Languages & input > Virtual keyboard.
- You'll see a list of all installed keyboards, including default installations.
- Tap Text correction.
- Scroll down to the Corrections section and tap Auto-correction to toggle it off.
- That's it!
From the available list, tap the Settings icon. On the Settings window, under the PERSONAL section, tap the Language & input option. Once the Language & input interface comes up, uncheck the Spell checker checkbox from the Language section to turn off the auto correct option on your device.
First, pull down the notification shade and tap the gear icon. From there, scroll down to Languages and Input. On Samsung Galaxy devices, this is found under the General Management menu; on Android Oreo, it's under System. In the Languages and Input menu, find the “Spell Checker” option.
