Lightning is an electrical discharge caused by imbalances between storm clouds and the ground, or within the clouds themselves. Most lightning occurs within the clouds.
A sudden flow of electrons from one charged object to another is called static discharge. Examples of static discharge include lightning and the shock you sometimes feel when you touch another object.
Myth #9: Lightning rods attract lightning. Fact: Definitely not! A lightning protection system simply intercepts a lightning strike and provides a path to ground for discharging the dangerous electricity.
A car or other enclosed metal structure is the safest place to be in a thunderstorm. Failing that, a ditch, trench or group of shrubs of uniform height is better than nothing. Keep away from boundary areas between dissimilar terrain (water and land; rock and earth; trees and fields).
On structures less than 30 metres (about 100 feet) in height, a lightning rod provides a cone of protection whose ground radius approximately equals its height above the ground. On taller structures, the area of protection extends only about 30 metres from the base of the structure.
The average house needs three or four rods, and ideally other rods should be placed on prominent points such as chimneys and dormers. All are interconnected with that all-important cable that runs to ground.
Electrify (Japanese: ãã†ã§ã‚“ Electrify) is a non-damaging Electric-type move introduced in Generation VI.

The ability is most useful in double/triple battles. When hit by the move, it deals no damage to the ability-bearer but raises its Special Attack by one stage. Stats can be raised to a maximum of +6 stages each. Lightning Rod will activate for an Electric-type Hidden Power, but not Electric-type Judgment.
Restores HP if hit by an Electric-type move instead of taking damage. Volt Absorb (Japanese: ã¡ãã§ã‚“ Electricity Storage) is an Ability introduced in Generation III.

Yes, they do.Volt Absorb and Lightning Rod both activated on Eerie Impulse, as seen in the replay above.
Alolan Raichu can also learn those. If you are willing to give up Lightning Rod, choose Alolan Raichu, and get another guy with Lightning Rod. If you are not willing to give up, Raichu is still good, and you could get another Psychic type on your team. So basically I would recommend Alolan Raichu.

The Pokémon is protected by a layer of thick fat, which halves the damage taken from Fire- and Ice-type moves. Thick Fat (Japanese: ã‚ã¤ã„ã—ã¼ã† Thick Fat) is an Ability introduced in Generation III.

Just place the Lightning Rod on top of the copper and wait until it gets hit; the greenish color will disappear. The Lightning Rod sends a redstone signal when it's struck by lightning, which means you can use it in a redstone circuit.
All that's important is to not forget that Seaking has Lightning Rod, letting it sponge any and all Electric-type attacks. Seaking is such an exploitable Pokemon in NU, and it's probably better for it to stay in its fish bowl than to come out of its Poke Ball.
Pokemon Sword and Shield Pikachu is a Electric Type Mouse Pokémon, which makes it weak against Ground type moves.
Thunder Wave is unaffected by Volt Absorb.
Hidden Abilities are special abilities that a Pokémon can learn. They're quite different from a Pokémon's usual abilities. One of these examples included Corviknight's Hidden Ability Mirror Armor, which reflects any stat change attacks back to the Pokémon that cast them.
According to legend, Regieleki was created by Regigigas using pure electric energy. Regieleki absorbs electrons in order to stay alive and is said to have the greatest power of any Electric-type Pokémon. The insulated equipment on it cannot conduct electricity.
The main attribute common to all lightning rods is that they are all made of conductive materials, such as copper and aluminum. Copper and its alloys are the most common materials used in lightning protection.
Alolan Raichu is an Electric/Psychic-type Pokémon that evolves from Pikachu via a Thunder Stone, which evolves from Pichu via friendship.
Thunder Wave is a completely different beast, though. This status move deals no damage at all, but it's still super powerful. One of the most frustrating moves in the game (especially when paired with the Prankster ability, which gives it a priority), it simply inflicts the Paralysis status on the opponent.
An ideal setup for any Water or Volt Absorb is in a doubles format. Keeping Lanturn as an example, one with Volt Absorb could be paired with a Discharge-user, whilst one with Water Absorb is ideally paired with a Surf-user.
Eerie Impulse (Japanese: ã‹ã„ã§ã‚“ã± Strange Wave) is a
non-damaging Electric-type move introduced in Generation VI.

Motor Drive is an ability that gives a Pokémon immunity to electric moves. If the user is hit with an electric move, its speed is raised by 1 level. It is an exclusive ability to electric-type Pokémon.
A motor drive, in the field of photography, is a powered film transport mechanism. Motor drives for compact and amateur cameras wind slowly—shot-to-shot intervals of approximately a second are commonplace. Professional grade cameras are faster, with speeds up to ten frames per second (fps).
Boosts move power when the Pokémon moves last. Boosts move power when the Pokémon moves after the target.
