IPCC Group 2 is not difficult. We make it difficult. Our carelessness make it difficult. Out attitude makes it difficult.
So, while marks per se in 12th Standard does not matter, or for that matter the stream (commerce, science, home science etc) also does not matter, but you should have passed 12th Standard, if you want to register for CA Intermediate course, after clearing CA-CPT / CA Foundation course.
Number of attempts in IPCC also do matter as there are quite a few job profiles that expressly mention the restriction on the number of attempts. However, the attempts in CA Final are far more important as these are most recent ones prior to your job.
An aspiring chartered accountant first has to attempt CPT and then IPCC. However, if a person has completed their graduation, they do not have to take the CPT exams. They can appear directly for the IPCC exams. This is known as Direct entry program and is open for graduate students.
2) After clearing IPCC you will not get a good job where you can earn good money. But you will be paid as trainee. You can enrol yourself as Industrial Traineewhich is allowed by ICAI. If you work in any industry as trainee, you can get Rs.
no company will ask you about your attempts they will only consider your experience. Attempts of final matters only ,IPCC and CPT attempts doesn't matter.
no company will ask you about your attempts they will only consider your experience. Attempts of final matters only ,IPCC and CPT attempts doesn't matter.
e.g. you write CA Final Group 1 in May 2017 and obtain at least minimum marks in each subject individually (i.e. 40%) and at least 50% in aggregate i.e. including all subjects together. You should have passed this way in CPT, IPCC (both groups) and CA Final. Then you'll be called a first attempt CA.
Jobs in Corporate: Generally all attempts matter. Jobs in CA Firms: Finals attempts matter but your other experiences might offset this. CA Practice in own or Family Firm: Number of attempts do not matter.
