Connect Your ViP Receiver to Phone Service
- Connect the phone cable to the back of the receiver.
- Press the MENU button.
- Select System Setup.
- Select Installation.
- Select Phone System.
- Enter your required Phone System setup information.
- Select Done.
Dish Network also has an Android app that lets you control your TV and more. The Dish Remote Access app doesn't just allow you to control your TV; it also lets you watch live TV on your Android device.

Dish says you do not need internet access to watch on demand with the Hopper. Anyone try it"? An internet connection is required to view On Demand content through Blockbuster @Home, VOD, and TV shows.

DISH Anywhere app is available on both iOS and Android devices. Not only can you watch DISH from your Hopper or Joey, but with DISH Anywhere app you can access the DISH TV app through your laptop or desktop computer, with your mobile devices, a tablet, or a smartphone.

Instructions:
- Make sure that your phone and TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Go to the input menu on your TV and turn on “screen mirroring.”
- Open the wireless display menu in your Android smartphone's settings and tap “screen mirroring” to turn on.
- Select your TV from the list of devices.
How to: Pair Bluetooth headphones with Hopper
- Make sure your Bluetooth headphones are powered on and ready for pairing.
- Press the MENU button on your remote.
- Select the SETTINGS icon.
- Select FIND DEVICES; the Hopper will scan for Bluetooth enabled devices.
