2. Hold down CTRL + SHIFT+B to open bookmarks menu, or from the Bookmarks menu select Show all Bookmarks.
You may happen to lose all of your Chrome bookmarks after updating Windows or Chrome browser to the latest version. Or the Chrome bookmarks may disappear due to mistaken deletion. Don't bother if you find no trace of your favorites/bookmarks on the new Chrome browser.

get your
bookmarks, passwords, and more on all your devices.
Open a bookmark
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Chrome app .
- Tap More Bookmarks .
- Find and tap a bookmark. To open in a new tab or Incognito tab, touch and hold the bookmark.
If you need to access a bookmark that you deleted within the last 30 days, you can recover it from iCloud.com. Click Settings, and under Advanced, click Restore Bookmarks. Learn more if you need help using iCloud Tabs.

- Tap the bookmark icon. When you're on the page you want to create a shortcut to, just tap on the bookmark icon.
- Tap on 'Add to home screen' When the bookmark options appear, tap on 'Add to home screen'.
- Change the shortcut name.
- See the shortcut appear.
In the Safari app on your Mac, click the Sidebar button in the toolbar, then click the Bookmarks button . Or, choose Bookmarks > Show Bookmarks. Click the bookmark in the sidebar. You can also choose it from the Bookmarks menu.
Organize your bookmarks
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More Bookmarks. Bookmark Manager.
- Drag a bookmark up or down, or drag a bookmark into a folder on the left. You can also copy and paste your bookmarks in the order you want.
To open a bookmarked page after you set it up, tap the Bookmarks icon in the upper-left portion of the screen. If the bookmark you have in mind is buried inside a folder, tap the folder name first and then tap the bookmark you want.
- Open Google Chrome.
- Type your login URL into the address bar at the top of your browser window, then press Enter.
- Once the login page loads, click on the star icon in the top right of the browser window.
- Give the bookmark a name, and select a location where you would like the bookmark saved.
- Click Done.
Manage bookmarks
- In the Safari app on your Mac, click the Sidebar button in the toolbar, then click the Bookmarks button .
- Control-click a bookmark or folder.
- Choose from the shortcut menu to do one of the following: Rename or edit a bookmark or folder.
Although you couldn't change the icons for the apps themselves, iOS did allow you to create "stand-ins" or "bookmarks" that, when tapped, would launch the app in question. These bookmarks could use whatever icon image you wanted, so you could effectively replace your home screen with an assortment of new icons.
If you were using the Bookmarks Toolbar for quick access to your favorite bookmarks and the toolbar is now missing, you may have turned off the option to display the Bookmarks Toolbar. To turn it back on: Right-click on an empty section of the navigation bar and select Bookmarks Toolbar in the pop-up menu.
If your bookmarks have disappeared from the Chrome screen, the bookmark bar has become hidden. Hit "Ctrl" plus "Shift" plus "B" to bring it back. The same option is available via the Bookmarks sub-menu on the Settings menu.
To turn the bookmarks bar on or off, follow these steps:
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- Once your Chrome browser has opened navigate to the top right, click More .
- Select Bookmarks Show Bookmarks Bar.
Toggle this mode on or off by pressing the "F11" key. 3 – Select the Taskbar tab if it isn't already selected by default. 4 – Uncheck the box beside Auto-hide the taskbar. 5 – If it isn't checked already, check the box beside Lock the taskbar, then click Ok.
