Dial your landline phone number from another phone. Press "#" on the keypad when you hear your voice mail greeting message. Enter the PIN, when prompted. When checking your voice mail messages from a phone that is not the primary landline, you will have to enter the PIN to access the messages.
Home messages 101 is a free service available on your Home phone. To access Home messages 101, just dial 101 from your Home phone. When you call 101 from your home phone you will be prompted to activate the service using you keypad. You can then check your messages anytime by calling 101.
- Dial your home phone number, wait for your voice mail to pick up, and then press 7 during the greeting. or. Dial your local access number, press #, and then enter your 10-digit phone number.
- Enter your PIN followed by the # sign.
- Choose from the menu options and follow the steps.
You can call your voicemail service to check your messages.
- Open your device's Phone app .
- At the bottom, tap Dialpad .
- Touch and hold 1.
To deactivate MessageBank you need to:
- Dial 125101 to access your MessageBank Service,
- Listen to your messages or the main menu options (if you have no messages) and follow the prompts,
- Press 5 to cancel your MessageBank service.
- Listen to the cancellation message and then press # to confirm the cancellation.
To turn off voicemail:
- Dial *91 from your home phone.
- Listen for two beeps to confirm that voicemail has been turned off, then hang up.
- Repeat step 1 but this time dial *93, then hang up once you hear the two beeps.
Messagebank is available on NBN, but Telstra Home Messages 101 is not. Have you tried dialling 125101? If you are connected to the NBN, dial *99# to turn on MessageBank or #99# to turn off MessageBank.
Cancelling the Home Messages 101® service
- Dial 101.
- After you've listened to your existing messages, press 3.
- You'll hear a message instructing that you're about to cancel Home Messages 101. When it finishes, press # to confirm you want to cancel the service.
- You will hear a confirmation message.
- Hang up.
Setting Up The Greeting On Your Answering Machine
- Press & hold Greeting Key. “Record greeting” will announce with a confirmation tone.
- Start recording your message. You can record up to a 30 second greeting.
- When you are finished recording your greeting, press the Greeting or Set key.
