Enable My Domain for the Environment Hub
- Find an available domain name and sign up for it. From Setup, enter My Domain in the Quick Find box, then select My Domain.
- Test your domain name and deploy it to your org. Click the URL in the confirmation email to log in to Salesforce using your new domain.
- Set the domain login policy for users accessing your pages.

Lightning apps let you brand your apps with a custom color and logo. You can even include a utility bar and Lightning page tabs in your Lightning app.
Delete a Domain
- From Setup, enter Domains in the Quick Find box, then select Domains.
- Next to the domain name, click Del.
- Click OK.
This allows Salesforce to differentiate between your code and the code from the managed package or components that are running in your org. Your Lightning Components can't share the same memory space as Lightning Components from a vendor. By having My Domain enabled, they can more readily keep them separate.
What are the Salesforce IP Addresses & Domains to whitelist?
- The IP addresses that we use have been allocated directly to us by The American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN),
- The Asia Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC), and.
- Réseaux IP Européens (RIPE) or assigned to us by one of our partners from the same Regional Internet Registries.
Add a Custom URL
- From Setup, enter Custom URLs in the Quick Find box, then select Custom URLs.
- Click New Custom URL.
- Enter a domain name. Important Avoid entering personal information in your domain name. Instead, enter only public information.
- Enter a site name.
- Enter a unique path.
- Click Save.
The base URL is in the format salesforce.com— where instance is your Salesforce instance. Note: The URL should not have a slash ( / ) at the end.
You can go to salesforce.com/status, where Salesforce has setup a lovely lookup for your domain. and enter what you have left into the lookup box, and click find. Viola!

Create a CNAME entry in your DNS
- Click Setup.
- Under "Administer," click Domain Management | click Domains.
- Click Add A Domain.
- Copy the 18 digit token. This token is case sensitive so copy it exactly as displayed.
- In your DNS, create a CNAME.
When you're logged in into Trailhead, click on the picture at top right and select Profile from the dropdown. The url that appears in the address bar is your Trailhead Profile URL.

- From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter My Domain , and then select My Domain.
- Enter the name that you want to use for your My Domain subdomain.
- Click Check Availability.
- Click Register Domain.
- Salesforce provisions your My Domain.
Note Authentication configuration settings apply to all of your org's deployed and provisioned My Domains.
- From Setup, in the Quick find box, enter My Domain , and then select My Domain.
- Under Authentication Configuration, click Edit.
- To customize your logo, click Choose File and upload an image file.
