When your mouse cursor goes invisible, just scroll blindly to below your screen dock (usually at the bottom of the screen.) Then scroll back up again. Your mouse cursor should reappear. Invoking a menu click often brings your cursor back.
Click “Mouse” form the pane on the left, scroll through the options until you see”Additional mouse options”, and click on it. Click the tab labeled “Pointers”. Now, from the list of cursors under the Customise section, click one that you want to change, and then click “Browse”.
On the Control Panel window, click “Ease of Access”. Then, under Ease of Access Center, click the “Change how your mouse works” link. Select an option for the size and color you want for the mouse pointer in the “Change the color and size of mouse pointers” box. Then, click “OK”.
To reassign a button across all applications
- Using the mouse that you want to configure, start Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center.
- Select basic settings.
- Select the button that you want to reassign.
- In the list of the button that you want to reassign, select a command. To disable a button, select Disable this button.
Click on the “Additional mouse options” link, located at the bottom of the page or in the right-side panel. Switch to the “Pointer Options” tab using the header menu of the Mouse Properties window. Adjust the speed of your mouse with the slider under 'Motion.
How to change pointer size using Control Panel
- Open Settings.
- Click on Devices.
- Click on Mouse.
- On the right, under “Related settings,” click the Additional mouse options link.
- Use the Scheme drop-down to select the size you want, including: system scheme (small), large, and extra large.
- Click the Apply button.
Open the Control Panel. Click or double-click the Mouse or Mouse Settings icon. In the Mouse Properties window, click the Buttons tab, if not already selected. On the Buttons tab, adjust the slider for the Double-click speed option, then press OK.
On the Accessibility settings screen, go to the Mouse and touchpad section. Select Show large mouse cursor to set the toggle switch to On. By default, the mouse cursor will now be set to Large. Use the slider for Adjust cursor size to make the cursor smaller, if required.
To change the cursor options in Windows 7:
- Choose Start, Control Panel.
- In the Control Panel, choose Ease of Access.
- On the next screen, click on the link that says “Change how your mouse works.”
- At the top of the next window, you will find the options for changing both the size and color of your pointer.
By default, regardless of whether you use Windows 10 or an older version of Windows, you can open files and folders by double-clicking on them. However, you can change this behavior to open files with a single click (mouse double-clicking on a single click).
Magnify the mouse pointer on Mac
- On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Accessibility. Open Accessibility preferences for me.
- Click Display, click Cursor, then drag the Cursor size slider to the right to make it larger.
