You can save a OneNote notebook as a PDF, but if you update the notebook, those changes will not be reflected in the PDF. To save the OneNote notebook as a PDF, choose "Print" from the menu at the OneNote window's top right.

The current default save location in Microsoft OneNote is the C: drive. This drive is specific to each computer and is not connected to the network. Because of this, if a specific computer were to crash, everything saved to the C: drive on that computer would be unrecoverable.

OneNote automatically saves your work through its notebook syncing feature. To use this Microsoft note-taking app feature, you have to enable the "Sync automatically whenever there are changes" option through the File menu. On a Windows PC, you can disable and re-enable OneNote's syncing feature at any time.
