To synchronize the devices all you need is a pointing object (like a pen or a needle) which will enable is to push the Drone frequency restart button. It can be found on the left side of our Drone in the case of the Phantom 4 or behind the gimbal on the right in the case of the Phantom 3 Professional and Advanced.
Option 1: Turn on the remote controller then, while holding down the C1 and C2 buttons on the back of the remote controller, press the camera settings dial to reset. Option 2: Flick the flight mode switch back and forth until the remote controller status indicator blinks red and green.
Keep pressing the C1+Shutter button, press power button once and then press again and hold for 2 seconds to turn on the RC, the LED will become white, then connect to your mobile device and enter Overall Status to update again.
Turning off the controller is the same as turning off the Phantom 3. Press the power button briefly, press it again until the LED lights go down to zero.
Simply follow the instructions below to link the controller and the aircraft:
- Connect the remote controller, and the mobile device you're using, with an appropriate USB cable.
- Turn on your Remote Control and Aircraft.
- Launch the DJI Go app on your mobile device.
- Press the blue 'Camera' button.

Setting up the drone with the DJI GO App
- Power up your transmitter and then power up your drone.
- The following screen will appear.
- Attach the lightning cable from the transmitter to your iOS device.
- You will now need to activate the Phantom 3.
- Choose a name for the aircraft, then tap the "Continue>" button.
- Next, it will allow you to choose the Control Mode.
Downloading flight logs
- Power up the Phantom 3 or Inspire 1 drone and launch the DJI GO App.
- In the MC Settings menu, choose Advanced Settings.
- Scroll down, and select Enter flight date mode.
- The DJI GO app will prompt you to connect the drone to a PC or Mac via USB cable.
Please note the firmware of Phantom 3 professional and Phantom 3 Advanced are not the same, and DJI Assistant 2 doesn't work with Phantom 3 series products. To Check If Your Android Mobile Device Is Connected to Wi-Fi
- Launch the Play Store app on your Android device.
- Tap in the search box at the top of the screen.
- Search for "DJI GO 4" and tap on the found app.
- Tap Install and then Open to use it.
Remote controller error (D-D-D) beeping is usually caused by a drop of the RC, a stick not at its midpoint or a software problem. The solution (depending on the problem) will be to calibrate the RC, upgrade or rollback the firmware, or disconnect/reconnect the RC from the AC.
If you want to reset wifi, please turn on the remote controller and then turn the gimbal dial to the far right, toggle the S2 switch back and forth for at least three times. You will hear a beep if it reset successfully. The default password is 12341234.
Unfortunately, the DJI Mavic Mini has no Follow Me ActiveTrack modes. To add this technology would increase the size and weight of the quadcopter. Now, if you have already purchased the mini, you can configure the Mavic Mini follow you using the Dronie Quickshot.
The first and most important difference between the two Phantom models is obstacle avoidance. The Phantom 3 has two cameras. It has one camera for video and one for stabilization. With the Phantom 4, they've added three more cameras for improved stabilization and obstacle avoidance.

The aircraft will automatically return to the Home Point if no action is taken after 10 seconds. When the Intelligent Flight Battery is depleted to a point that may affect the safe return of the aircraft, the Low Battery Level Warning or Critically Low Battery Warning will appear in the DJI GO app.
Follow me technology creates a virtual tether between the drone and a GPS-equipped mobile device, which allows the drone to track you or another subject in motion. Most Follow me UAVs, can also remain stationary and track the subject by rotating, or it can move along with the subject.
