If the “unfortunately TouchWiz has stopped” error on Samsung Galaxy S5 pops up for the first time, it could be a glitch in the TouchWiz system or in the firmware. A simple soft reset may fix this problem. Remove the battery from your Galaxy S5 when the phone is on. Press the Power button for minimum 30 seconds.
To access this setting, simply perform the following steps:
- Open the Settings application.
- Scroll down and tap Apps.
- Tap the Options button in the top right corner.
- Tap Default Apps.
- Select Home Screen.
- Select the installed launcher you want to use by default.
It is optional, because its interface, and the buttons, shortcuts, and such, are a particular target for those who can "do better" or "different", and have created "Launchers" to compete with it, and hence replace it.
Samsung Software launcher is an application that creates an interface for the user on PC for easy operations. One can drag icons, apps, music on desktop to create shortcuts and customize it accordingly. To delete an icon from the launcher, one can drag it out of it as well.
Step 1: Go to Home screen settings by holding the home screen. Step 2: Then tap on Home screen layout. On the next screen, select Home screen only from the settings to disable app drawer.
Samsung Experience (stylized as SΛMSUNG Experience) is a software overlay for the Android "launcher" designed by Samsung for its Galaxy devices. It was introduced in late 2016 on a beta build based on Android Nougat for the Galaxy S7, succeeding TouchWiz. It has been succeeded by One UI based on Android Pie.
One UI (also written as OneUI) is a software overlay developed by Samsung Electronics for its Android devices running Android Pie and higher. Succeeding Samsung Experience UX and TouchWiz, it is designed to make using larger smartphones easier and become more visually appealing.
It was introduced in November 2018 with the Android 9 Pie update. All Android phones have a launcher. The launcher is a part of the user interface which lets you launch apps and customize the home screen with things like widgets. One UI Home is the official Samsung launcher for Galaxy smartphones and tablets.
Touchwiz is the name of Samsung's custom spin of Android, which includes (among other things) a unique visual style on the homescreen, some additional widgets (like a widget with current time and weather conditions), their own versions of email and calendar apps, and a re-arrangement of the settings menu.
This will help you to get rid of the bothered behavior of TouchWiz Launcher. Samsung's S Planner app is the one that keeps on bothering the users constantly. So first trash the icon from the Home screen and then disable it by going to Settings > Application > Application manager > S Planner > Force Stop it.
S Voice is your virtual mobile personal assistant capable of running a large number of tasks through voice command alone to save you time and effort when using your Galaxy device.
Open ANY launcher (if TouchWiz is the only one on the phone, go to the play store on a computer and tell it to install some other launcher - it'll install on your phone). Go to Settings, then to Application Manager. Enable TouchWiz.
TouchWiz is Samsung's own front-end software or 'skin' that runs on top of the Google Android operating system on all Samsung smartphones, like the Galaxy S6 or upcoming Galaxy S7. While software updates have improved TouchWiz, the lure of a custom or stock Android experience is too tempting to pass up.
Touchwiz Easy Home is just another home launcher feature on Samsung phones.. it is a simplified home launcher.
Older Android devices will have a default launcher named, simply enough, “Launcher,” where more recent devices will have “Google Now Launcher” as the stock default option.
There should be an entry on your apps (swipe to the right) called Easy Settings, which will have an Easy Mode button. If not, click More Apps, scroll to Settings, click "My Device", and then click Easy Mode. From either of those, you can change it to Standard Mode.

Samsung announced the launch of a new cloud storage service called Samsung Cloud alongside the Galaxy Note 7 earlier this month. It makes switching to a new phone or restoring an older device very easy. Samsung Cloud provides users with a backup and restoration option that works without needing any USB cables.
