We recommend cleaning your device with the included pipe cleaners and isopropyl alcohol every few uses to prevent any build up in the vapor path. PAX 2 can be cleaned in less than a minute. If you use PAX 2 regularly, we encourage a weekly clean for the perfect session every time.
Simply slip the concentrate insert into the PAX 2 chamber and load it with your concentrate. The recommended temperature for vaping wax and oil with the PAX 2 is 380F. Our PAX tip for vaping wax is to clean the concentrate insert using isopropyl alcohol and a q-tip after every one or two sessions.
Unless you regularly maintain your PAX by soaking the mouthpiece and applying mouthpiece lubricant, this will get more severe and your mouthpiece could eventually become jammed in place. The sliding ring that sits underneath the mouthpiece plastic helps latch your mouthpiece in the OFF position.
Regular cleaning after five to 10 uses should keep your PAX 3 running without a hitch, but a great practice is cleaning the device at the first sight of any material buildup.
What devices connect with PAX Apps? PAX 3, Era, and Era Pro feature Bluetooth connectivity and will pair with PAX Apps. PAX 2 and Era Life do not have Bluetooth capability and will not pair with our apps.

Packing It Too LooseAs with most things, it depends on the type of vape that you have If you have a vape that uses “conduction†heating like my Pax 2, then you should pack it very tight. To adjust the temperature setting, place PAX 2 into temperature set mode by pressing and holding the button until the LED indicator responds. Continue to short-press the power button to cycle through the four temperature settings: One green petal – 360°F (180°C) Two yellow petals – 380°F (193°C)

We found the best way to remove your old Pax screen is to push it out from the top using the supplied pipe cleaner.
- Remove the mouth piece.
- Insert pipe cleaner into the air hole on the top of the mouth piece and push all the way through.
- Once you reach the end your screen should pop right out.
Depending on how fine your herb is ground up the amount needed to fill the chamber ranges from 0.3g to 0.4g. When you fully pack it you can expect roughly 20 full draws before your herb is spent.

The Pax 3 Complete Kit comes with 3 screens in the maintenance kit. It's very dependent on use to replace screens. You'll probably want to replace the screen every other week if you're using the device once a day.
The Pax 3 has a small oven lid that users can adjust to decrease the oven size to get more hits from a smaller amount of material. Without this lid in place, users can get anywhere from ten to twenty hits from a fully loaded chamber on the Pax 3.
PAX 3 will heat all the way back up to your temperature setting when you put your lip or finger on the mouthpiece. If LEDs show that PAX 3 is heating again (not ready to hit, significant heating needed), PAX 3 will vibrate with a short double pulse when it's ready to hit again.
