You've decided to trade in a shire horse at Valentine so you can buy a new horse. You'll only be able to sell the draft horse for about $5. You can choose to sell or stable him. We suggest to keep it - it's a pretty good horse.
To clean your clothes in RDR2, there are several options you can choose between. For one, you can take a bath. There are several bath locations in hotels scattered around the map that you can use to take the grime off of yourself and your clothes.
To stay clean, you can either take a dip in a river or stream or take a bath at a hotel. A premium bath may also be purchased, where a maid will come in and scrub Arthur clean for a more relaxing time.
Of all the Arabian Horses, The White Arabian Horse is the only elite horse that can be found in the wild instead of having to be purchased, saving you a thousand dollars! You can find this special horse on the northwestern side of Lake Isabella in Grizzlies West.
Where to find the best horse. You will find Lake Isabella in the western Grizzlies in the state of Ambarino — the snowy, mountainous area in the far northwest corner of Red Dead Redemption 2's map. The white Arabian horse hangs out on the western bank of the lake. Manually save your game before entering the area.
How to Unlock Fast Travel. You can unlock Fast Travel in RDR2 by upgrading your gang's camp after the start of Chapter 2: Horseshoe Overlook. Note: You'll need $545 to unlock the Fast Travel map. Go to The Heartlands to make an easy $500 or to Treasure Maps to make an easy $100.
After Hosea's second mission has been completed, the Fence will always be open for Arthur to use. You can find the Fence on Emerald Ranch, open during the day. Simply approach the Fence, choose the 'Sell' option, and you can pass off any of the valuables you've accumulated through combat or thieving, for a tidy sum.
Once you've done that, you'll find out that the best horse breed in Red Dead Redemption 2 you can purchase is an Arabian. Fortunately, you can acquire this horse for free, as long as you're ok with going through the arduous process to tame it. But that's what we're here for!
If you whistle the horse will follow. If you leave it, it will stay there. It's not in the stable.
“You'll need really good control over the horse you ride — you should be able to handle him with one hand on the reins. Make sure that the other horse leads well from the ground and is happy to be led from the right-hand side.”
The rare white Arabian horse is located near the northwestern edge of the map, right around Lake Isabella, on the western side of the region known as Ambarino. This particular horse is stark white, meaning it may be hard to track within the snowy environment.
Every horse is different IRL, but in general, unaltered male horses are more aggressive and require a firmer hand than female horses. Especially if they get around females that are in heat.
“A full winter haircoat is perfect for insulating the horse against the cold winter weather. However, that insulation is lost if the haircoat gets wet. Providing shelter allows the horse to stay dry on wet, snowy days and, ultimately, allows them to stay warm.” Another way to keep horses warm is to feed them hay.
While fast travel isn't as easy as it is in other open-world games, if you take a train, stagecoach, or travel from your camp to a town, your horse should respawn. There'll be an option to retrieve your horse there, and it'll come right back to you.
To see a horse's stats, lock onto it and hold R1 to 'study'. If you want Red Dead Redemption 2's fastest horse, we have a guide on that, too. There is another way to change your horse as well. Simply buy a new one from a stable and it becomes your main horse, saddle and all.
There will sometimes be a weird flashing red icon over your horse health that is actually a “brush” symbol, meaning you need to brush your horse a few times to clean off dust and get it to go away. In camp, you will often see three red icons in the corner of the screen.
But you can get a dog! And if Red Dead Redemption 2's single-player is any indication, you'll be able to pet the dog.
As part of this mission, you visit the stables in the town of Valentine in order to buy a new horse. After completing the transaction, you will receive the brush as a gift. From now on you can choose the Horse tab and the Grooming Brush from the drop-down menu.
You need to be a decent distance from any town or settlement to set up a campsite. To do it, get off your horse at the place you want to camp and access the inventory wheel with L1 or LB. Hold the stick down to highlight the camp option, and if it's fine you'll automatically go into camp.
After you complete (well, technically, just start) Hosea's “Exit Pursued by a Bruised Ego” mission during Chapter 2, you'll have access to stables in most towns you visit — they're marked with a horseshoe icon on your map.
In Red Dead Redemption 2, the Fence is a merchant where you can sell Gold Bars, Stage Coaches, Jewelry, and other stolen items that other merchants won't purchase. The Fence can also craft Talismans and Trinkets from special items you'll find.
The leather working tools are purchased through the campsite's ledger book, which is only unlocked after completing a mission for Herr Leopold Strauss. Completing one of Strauss' missions allows players to purchase the tools for Pearson, which in turn allows him to craft satchels as well as livery for the campsite.
No. You lose any horses Arthur had at the end of Chapter 6, even those stored in the stable. It may be possible to re-tame the white Arabian with John (I've heard that it respawns in the epilogue, but I've never tried it, myself).
User Info: LordSkippy. Apparently it will respawn, so yes. And even though you can't get Arthur's horses back, I'm going to stable mine in Chapter6 and buy a random horse, just because I don't want to watch my white one die.
Leave the area for a few days & it will respawn.
These animals are unique animals of a specific species and when killed they drop legendary pelts, these pelts are highly valuable and can be used to craft trappers and special clothing items. If you somehow lose the legendary pelt it will be transported to the Trapper so you will never miss this reward once you get it.
4 bonded White Arabian off a cliff. You don't have a reviver, and you don't want it to die. The nearest stables/general stores are about 10 minutes away in real time, and 10 minutes to get back in real time.
