To alphabetize your list all you need do is click on Favorites and select Organize Favorites. When the window pops up, just right click anywhere in the list and select the menu choice “Sort by name” and that will alphabetize the list.
To access your Favorites hover over the user icon in the top right hand corner and select “Favorites" from the drop-down menu. To re-arrange your Favorites simply hold and drag a Favorite with your mouse to drop it in the preferred position.
Hold down the CTRL key, and then click each of the favorites in the right pane you want to copy. On the Edit menu, click Copy. In the left pane, double-click the drive on which the Windows folder is located, and then double-click the Windows folder.
How to manage favorites on Microsoft Edge
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Click the Settings and more (three-dotted) button from the top-right.
- Select the Favorites submenu and choose the Manage favorites option.
- Click the Add favorite or Add folder option.
- Complete the required information.
- Click the Save button.
By default, Windows stores your personal Favorites folder in your account's %UserProfile% folder (ex: "C:UsersBrink"). You can change where files in this Favorites folder are stored to another place on the hard drive, another drive, or another computer on the network.
In Windows 7, they're stored in: C:UsersusernameFavorites (or simply %userprofile%Favorites ). From there, you can right-click on the file, copy it and save it to a flash drive in case your computer crashes, you will have all of your favorites.
Favorites are a series of shortcuts that are shown in the left-side navigation panel of Windows/File Explorer, in the section called Favorites. They are always found at the top-left side of the window and they can be easily accessed when working with Windows/File Explorer.
View photos marked as favorites.
- Select the Favorites tab.
- Select photo you want to open, or use the arrow keys to navigate to the photo and press Enter .
Windows® 10 - Microsoft® Edge - Add, Delete or Open Favorites
- Open the Edge app then navigate to the desired website.
- Select the Star icon.
- From the Favorites tab (located at the top), edit the Name and Save location (if desired) then select Add.
Open Google, then tap the G, then the menu bar bottom right, then COLLECTIONS, then FAVORITE IMAGES.
Press F to set favorite, press right arrow to go to next picture, press F, press right arrow, etc. until you go through all the ones you want. Then search in the search bar using, "favorites" to recall all your pictures.
To Remove Image from Favorites in Photos app Favorites Album
- Open the Photos app.
- Click/tap on Albums at the top, and click/tap on your Favorites album. ( see screenshot below)
- Right click or press and hold on an image you want to remove, and click/tap on Remove from favorites. ( see screenshot below)
Tap "Phone" on the home screen, and then tap "Favorites." This action displays a list of your key contacts. Tap "Edit" to display the three-line icons next to each name. Press and hold the icon next to the contact you want, and then drag it up or down to reposition it in alphabetical order.
Alphabetize bookmarks
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More .
- Click Bookmarks. Bookmark Manager.
- Browse to the folder you want to organize.
- Above your bookmarks, click Organize.
- Click Reorder by Title. Your bookmarks will be listed in alphabetical order.
Press and hold the "Ctrl" key and click each link to select multiple nonadjacent items. Click the "Delete" key. When prompted, confirm your selection to remove multiple favorites.
If you want to edit a name on the Favorites Bar, right-click on the shortcut and click on Rename. Click on the Start button, then click on your name in the upper right of the Start menu. You'll see the Favorites folder listed along with Documents, Photos, and the rest.
