Log in to your account and click on Contacts. Highlight the group you'd like to delete by clicking on it once. Now hit the Delete key your keyboard. A popup should appear asking if you're sure you'd like to delete that group.
SMS stands for Short Message Service and is the most widely used type of text messaging. MMS stands for Multimedia Messaging Service. With a MMS, you can send a message including pictures, video or audio content to another device. MMS does require a data package.
Create a group
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Contacts app .
- At the top left, tap Menu. Create label.
- Enter a label name and tap OK. Add one contact to a label: Tap Add contact. choose a contact. Add multiple contacts to a label: Tap Add contact touch and hold a contact tap the other contacts. tap Add.

There is not way to tell. There is no way to tell, unless you are the sender, who it went to. A blank to address or the senders name in the To field are usual giveaways but they are not accurate as one that always send a BCC message to a single person.
Procedure
- Tap Android Messages.
- Tap Menu (3 dots in the top right corner)
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Advanced.
- Tap Group Messaging.
- Tap "Send an SMS reply to all recipients and get individual replies (mass text)"
This button is in the upper-right corner of your message conversation. It will open a drop-down menu. Tap Delete on the menu. This option will delete the selected group conversation, and remove it from your Messages app.
Limit the number of people in a group.
The number who can be in the same group text depends on the app and mobile network. Apple's iMessage group text app for iPhones and iPads can accommodate up to 25 people, according to the Apple Tool Box blog, but Verizon customers can only add 20.Go to “Send message settings.” Disable the “Send as Split Threads” setting so that all of your group text messages are sent out as individual threads instead of sending one thread when group texting. Tap the back button on the phone to return to the “Settings” menu. Select the “security and privacy” option.
Send Group Text
Tap “All” to include all contacts in the group, and then tap “Done.” The Messaging app opens, and the New SMS Message form displays. Type your message to the group in the text input box. Tap “Send” to send the message to everyone in your contact group.When you remove someone from a group thread there is no way for them to know unless you specifically notify them. It does not show them that they were removed nor does it delete the thread.
Blocking Text Messages
- Open “Messages“.
- Press the “Menu” icon located at the upper-right corner.
- Select “Blocked contacts“.
- Tap “Add a number” to add a number you wish to block.
- If you ever wish to remove a number from the blacklist, return to the Blocked contacts screen, and select the “X” next to the number.
Follow these steps to reset SMS settings to default values on Android:
- Open Messages.
- Choose Settings.
- Reset all settings to factory values.
- Restart your device.
You can send one MMS message to multiple people using group messaging, containing text only or text and media, and replies are delivered in group conversation threads to each person in the group. MMS messages use mobile data and require a mobile data plan or pay-per-use payment.
If you click on the top of the text message where it says TO: And then click details it should list all the recipients. Some phones or networks might send them different but if send from an iphone you could see the list of phone numbers that it was send to.
Go to the Menu of the messages. You will see a checkbox with an option 'Auto-convert to MMS'. Uncheck this option and save the settings. Enjoy!
Check the Android phone's network connection if you can't send or receiving MMS messages. Open the phone's Settings and tap “Wireless and Network Settings.” Tap “Mobile Networks” to confirm it is enabled. If not, enable it and attempt to send a MMS message.
Steps to fix Android not receiving group texts from iPhone
- Take out the SIM card from the Android device and insert it in the iPhone.
- Next, on the iPhone, go to Settings.
- Scroll down and tap on Messages.
- You will get to see iMessage at the top, turn this option off.
- Take out the SIM card and insert it in the Android device.
