Basically yes -however, my old Creative MP3 player needed me to move the power switch to the "lock" position to get it to charge from a phone type charger so there might be an occasional trick needed to get it to work but your players manual should tell you what to do.

you'd have to get a USB ported outlet adapter, then plug the adapter into an outlet, just like a phone. if the outlet adapter works then check the battery on the Walkman every now and then until it is fully charged to prevent overcharging.

Charge the battery for about 5-10 minutes before you operate the Walkman. Check the USB cable or AC power adapter connection. Connect the Walkman directly. How to Reset MP3 and MP4 Players
- Slide the Hold switch to the Off position.
- Locate the Reset button on the player. It will likely be on the back of the MP3/MP4 player, and it will most likely be no bigger than a pinhole.
- Press a pin or tack into the Reset button for 7 to 10 seconds. The player will reset.
