Basically yes -however, my old Creative MP3 player needed me to move the power switch to the "lock" position to get it to charge from a phone type charger so there might be an occasional trick needed to get it to work but your players manual should tell you what to do.

you'd have to get a USB ported outlet adapter, then plug the adapter into an outlet, just like a phone. if the outlet adapter works then check the battery on the Walkman every now and then until it is fully charged to prevent overcharging.
