A3 is four times smaller than a A1 paper sheet.

You select the printer menu and use the properties on the printer. Select the page size (A3) for the print, multi-up if desire, and then go back to the print menu and select shrink to fit, then just print.

The largest sheet from the A series is the A0 size of paper. It has an area of 1m2, and the dimensions are 841mm x 1189mm.

A2 is twice the size of A3, and four times the size of A4. A0 is twice the size of A1, and sixteen times the size of A4.

Blueprints and house plans will come in several standard sizes. Two of the most common architectural drawing sizes are 18” x 24” and 24” x 36”, but you can also find them in 30” x 42” and 36” x “48” sizes.

A B1 piece of paper measures 707 × 1000 mm or 27.8 × 39.4 inches. Cutting it in half will create two B2 sheets of paper. B1 is part of the B series and is defined by the ISO 216 international paper size standard.
The scale is shown as the length in the drawing, then a colon (":"), then the matching length on the real thing. Example: this drawing has a scale of "1:10", so anything drawn with the size of "1" would have a size of "10" in the real world, so a measurement of 150mm on the drawing would be 1500mm on the real horse.
Every 'A' size is double the previous size: A3 is twice the size of A4, and so forth. Remember that A8 is very small (about 2in x 3in) and A0 is big (nearly 3ft x 4ft).

The B paper sizes are a bit larger than their A series counterparts and are based on the geometric mean of two consecutive A series sheets. For example, B4 is between A3 and A4 in size, and B5 is between A4 and A5. The C series was introduced to provide an envelope with enough space for an A series sheet.
While the 2019 Audi A3 is built around a 103.8-inch wheelbase, the 2019 Audi A4 features a wheelbase of 111 inches. In terms of power, both sedans are built with 2.0L TFSI® engines and offer quattro® all-wheel drive, but the 2019 A4 does deliver on a bit more horsepower and torque.

If you want to print an A3 document on an A4 sheet of paper select 'scale' in the print options and reduce to 71%. If you want to print an A3 document to A3 size using an A4 printer print in 2 parts then sellotape the parts together.

- Choose File > Print.
- From the Page Scaling pop-up menu, select one of the following options: Tile Large Pages Tile only the pages that are larger than the paper.

Open a new word processing document and click "File," then "Page Setup." Click the "Paper" margin, then scroll the "Paper size" tab to "A6" and click "OK." If you don't have the preset A6 option, scroll to the custom size, then type in 4.13 inches by 5.83 inches for a vertical page or the reverse for lengthwise.
To scale an object to a smaller size, you simply divide each dimension by the required scale factor. For example, if you would like to apply a scale factor of 1:6 and the length of the item is 60 cm, you simply divide 60 / 6 = 10 cm to get the new dimension.
