- Turret (Assault) We recommend The Division 2 players, especially those playing solo, unlock the Turret skill fairly early on.

- Hive (Stinger)
- Seeker Mine (Cluster)
- Pulse (Scanner)
- Shield (Ballistic Bulwark)
- Firefly (Blinder)
In The Division 2, players can upgrade their agents in a variety of ways. There is no way to speed up the process of unlocking skill points; players just have to play through the main story and eventually they will have enough skill points to unlock all eight skills in the game.
Once you acquire SHD Tech Points, you can spend them at the Base of Operation. Fast Travel to the White House and look for Coop Dennison, the Quartermaster. He is located on the ground floor, on the left side as you enter. Open the menu and check the Skills and Perk submenus.
In The Division 2, you boost your Skill Power by swapping gear. Certain gear will provide bonuses for your Skill Power: these bonuses will be indicated by a yellow battery symbol in the stats and bonuses section for that item, on the right-hand side of your screen.
Before players can start to upgrade and interact with their Base of Operations in The Division, they'll first have to unlock it by completing one of the game's early story missions. If you've yet to do so, you can read USgamer's The Division - Establish Base of Operations walkthrough.
There are six ways to unlock weapon modifications :
- Drawing a weapon modification card (showing two crossed rifles) during a payday.
- Completing a Gage courier package assignment, available to owners of the Gage Mod Courier DLC only.
- Unlocking certain achievements, available to the respective DLCs' owners only.
You can find mods on weapons that you pick up from dead Hyenas or any other gang threat or just find them in loot boxes or weapon cases, ETC. You can take the mods off those weapons and use it for your own. You can also get mod blueprints through Main/Side Missions.
Mods are used to improve the stats on your weapons and gear. You can get them through looting, as perks when spending SHD tech at the Quartermaster or by constructing them from blueprints. Each weapon mod features a drawback, like decreased accuracy or rate of fire, to balance out its boost.
To do so, press Options, select 'Character,' and then select the equipment that you wish to modify. From here, press square (PS4) / X (Xbox One) to mod it. In The Division 2, moddable weapons are indicated by the small square or circle shapes at the bottom left corner of the gear icon.

Similar to Weapon Handling, Skill Efficiency is a new attribute that modifies multiple skill-focused attribute bonuses at the same time. +1 percent Skill Efficiency is equal to: +1 percent Skill Damage. +1 percent Skill Haste.
Skill Power reduces the cooldown on your skills along with other things. For instance the higher your skill power, the more health you get from that healing skill.
