Whether you have nostalgia for the original or not, SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated is a genuinely worthwhile game to pick up in 2020 and enjoy. It offers enough to do to warrant the price tag and is certainly a step-up in terms of presentation compared to the original.
Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated isn't a remaster of the classic PS2 game but a complete remake, built from the ground up on Unreal Engine 4 and features significantly improved visuals, resolutions, gameplay, and a remastered soundtrack.
You should see the “jelly” part of his head start to fill down, and when it reaches the top it'll shoot out an electric shockwave that you'll need to jump over. Simply jump over the wave, towards the King Jellyfish boss and when you get close, hit him with your spatula or Patrick's belly.

The remastered game is called SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated and will feature a brand new multiplayer mode. This multiplayer mode, dubbed horde mode, will accommodate up to two players either online or via split screen.
Multiplayer is not available for the story mode, though. You won't be able to play through the traditional campaign with a friend, but you can at least fight wave after wave of robots to see who can reach the most points.
On the main screen you'll see an option for 'multiplayer'. In there, you'll have a few choices. To join a game that your friends have already begun, choose “Join a game.” From there you'll be able to choose your character and dive right in. You can also choose “Host a game” and invite your friends to play in your game.
