The Razer Kraken 2019 is a good gaming headset. For all of that, though, it is a very “no frills” gaming headset. There's no surround sound. The mic is just okay.
The Kraken Pro V2 doesn't offer surround-sound per se, but you can install an add-on named Razer Surround Pro and calibrate it for a virtual 7.1-surround experience. The Kraken Pro V2 produces good sound when gaming or listening to music.
