We strongly recommend anyone that's considering the Pixel 4 or 4 XL to wait for the Pixel 4a instead as they'll get a similar experience at a far more affordable price. If you prefer to use a phone with one hand, the smaller and cheaper Pixel 4 is the phone to get. However, the Pixel 4 XL should be worth the investment if you prefer a larger display and also want a larger battery that should last you most of the day. You just have to be willing to pay the $100 premium.

Google Pixel 3 is the best smartphone from the brand. With a 5.5-inch P-OLED display, the Pixel 3 is about an inch smaller (diagonally) than its XL companion — a plus for smartphone users are put off by the super-sized smartphone trend.Google's new Pixel 4 is a solid phone, but it's not worth $800.
