How late does UPS deliver? Other than time-definite air deliveries, shipments are generally delivered anytime between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. (and sometimes later) to residences, and by close of business for commercial addresses. UPS cannot schedule a specific delivery time within that window.
While Medium and Large Flat Rate boxes may be free, using your own packaging is often CHEAPER than shipping Priority Mail Flat rate, thanks to a “secret” USPS mail class called Priority Mail Cubic.
Cheapest shipping option for small packages: U.S. Postal Service's Priority Mail. Best shipping option for medium to large packages: The Postal Service's Priority Mail. Best shipping option for very large packages: FedEx Ground or UPS Ground. Cheapest option for overnight shipping: Postal Service Priority Mail Express.
The UPS store near us, accepts USPS parcels, as a courtesy, since USPS visits them daily, but there will be no scan on the USPS parcel, until it reaches a USPS sort facility. If the USPS parcels are +not+ scanned in a timely manner, your USPS parcels may be docked as late, by Amazon's tracking system.
UPS Mail Innovations®works with domestic and international postal services, providing the pickup, processing, and interim transportation of your package. The postal service makes the final delivery. If you need further tracking assistance, please contact your shipper.

I have spoken with numerous drivers and they all tell me UPS Ground and Standard Shipping are the same thing. One is not faster than the other. Although they have seen Ground get somewhere a day or two before standard. UPS Standard: UPS is referred to for Ground shipping to/from Canada or Mexico.

What is the difference between Priority shipping service and Standard shipping service? # Rebellion: Items shipped via priority are shipped by air which results in faster delivery times. Standard shipping is more economically friendly and will take up to 3 – 5 business days to arrive.
The general time standard is typically 2-9 days in the 48 contiguous states. Package Services is not a guaranteed service; delivery by a certain date or time is not available.
Standard shipping time in the US generally takes anywhere between 3-5 business days, depending on where you're sending to.
Priority Mail® service includes tracking and delivery in 1-3 business days1. Check delivery time estimates on the Priority Mail Delivery Map. Priority Mail Flat Rate® lets you ship packages up to 70 lbs to any state at the same price.
Shipping zones are the geographical areas that carriers ship to, spanning from Zone 1 to Zone 8 for domestic shipments in the United States. Shipping carriers use shipping zones to measure the distance a package travels – not in miles but rather groupings of zip codes – from the point of origin to the destination.
Processing time which is how long a merchant sits on orders is the major cause of lengthy delivery windows. Most merchants have a written shipping policy available for customers to review prior to placing an order. Review their policy and determine when they expect the parcel to be shipped/handed off to the carrier.
