Government. The central region of Tibet is an autonomous region within China, the Tibet Autonomous Region. The Tibet Autonomous Region is a province-level entity of the People's Republic of China. It is governed by a People's Government, led by a Chairman.
Officially: No, Mongolia is not a part of China. Mongolia is a sovereign state in Asia and boasts its own language, currency, prime minister, parliament, president, and armed forces. Tibet is another famous autonomous region occupied by China.

The heartland of the region is the Northeast China Plain. It is separated from Far Eastern Russia to the north by the Amur, Argun, and Ussuri rivers; from North Korea to the south by the Yalu and Tumen Rivers; and from China's Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region to the west by the Greater Khingans.
Xiaoguancheng village in Hebei province is among the poorest in China. The yearly per capita income of its residents is below 3,000 yuan (US$475). The village has been targeted as part of President Xi Jinping's campaign to wipe out poverty across China by 2020.
Recognition for the People's Republic of China soon followed from most other governments, including the United States. A view in Taiwan is that the Republic of China and the People's Republic of China are both sovereign, thus forming "two Chinas", or "one China, one Taiwan".

The Philippines, at #1 with 196 provinces and chartered cities (both considered their top administrative divisions) probably has few people memorizing all of them.
