Now director Michael Bay has shared an image of the new Barricade, a Decepticon Ford Mustang slated to go toe to toe with the Autobots' Bumblebee Camaro. Barricade made its first big-screen appearance in the 2007 Transformers movie as a Saleen Mustang; this one isn't a Saleen, but it still looks plenty angry.
The Decepticon Barricade has been confirmed to return for the fifth film in the franchise, and following the suit of Bumblbee's new vehicle form as a customized 2016 Camaro, the villain's new vehicle form is an updated Ford Mustang Saleen. It appears to resemble a Decepticon called Barricade, who appears in the 2007 Transformers film with a team of evil transformers trying to take over the world and build an army of machines.
He's now revealed the car that will serve as the alternate mode for popular Autobot Bumblebee: a sixth-generation Chevrolet Camaro (an earlier release from Bay showed what appears to be an injured Optimus Prime).
Saleen Mustangs are special-edition Ford Mustangs produced by Saleen Automotive, Inc. Saleen is an American auto manufacturer that makes limited-edition, high-performance specialty vehicles. The Saleen Mustang debuted in 1984 as the company's first high-performance streetcar.
Barricade is apparently a complicated robot. He's considered "fractious" even by Decepticon standards, yet is willing to give Starscream the benefit of the doubt and follow where he leads, at least for the time being. Barricade might not be as large as most of his peers, but he is every bit as deadly.

In Bumblebee, Dropkick and Shatter called Bumblebee a traitor. Later on in the movie, Bumblebee goes on a human killing spree (because only half of his memory was restored), and his eyes are red (just like that of a Decepticon. Was Bumblebee a Decepticon before he was an Autobot? No he doesn't.
The Last Knight film. He's decided to show up every other film from now on. Having survived the injuries he sustained in the Chicago war and avoided being hunted down by the humans in the years since, Barricade had been rebuilt into a sleeker new form.
1 Answer. While it is true that Megatron had his head ripped off at the end of Dark of the Moon, Megatron was resurrected (sort of) in Age of Extinction as "Galvatron". Before the deployment of the fifth and final Galvatron body, Megatron transferred his mind into the body, effectively reviving himself into a new body.
On May 31, 2018, Jess Harnell revealed he would reprise his role as the voice of Barricade from the 2007 film and The Last Knight, but the character did not appear in the final product.
Barricade is a Decepticon from the live-action film continuity family.
The helicopter is a Decepticon Micromaster vehicle from the toyline portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

In most versions, Bumblebee is a small yellow Volkswagen Beetle, although since the live action movies, he has appeared as vehicles inspired by several generations of the Chevrolet American muscle cars – with the live-action film versions being a yellow Camaro with black racing stripes.
