Stars have always been used for the symbolization of different things in the recent past as well as in history. They are almost always a sign of divinity, purity and good luck. What do the stars in the American flag represent?

The first official national flag of Texas, adopted on December 10, 1836, was blue with a central yellow star. The republic's naval flag resembled the banner displayed by James Long in 1819, except that the canton was blue rather than red.
Some groups use the "southern cross" as one of the symbols associated with their organizations, including groups such as the Ku Klux Klan. However, the flag of the United States is commonly used instead. For other supporters, the Confederate flag represents only a past era of Southern sovereignty.
Colors and symbolism
The Texas Flag Code assigns the following symbolism to the colors of the Texas flag: blue stands for loyalty, white for purity, and red for bravery. The code also states that the single (lone) star "represents ALL of Texas and stands for our unity as one for God, State, and Country."The five points of the star stand for Love, Truth, Peace, Freedom, and Justice. While Morocco was under French and Spanish control, the red flag with the seal in the center remained in use, but only inland.
