The following behaviours are not officially classed as antisocial: Parking (including badly parked vehicles) Children playing. Neighbours doing DIY (at reasonable times of the day) Groups of people in the street or in parks, unless they are being rowdy, abusive, causing damage or committing other crimes.
A community protection notice (CPN) can be issued against a perpetrator of persistent antisocial behaviour. Failure to comply can lead to a fixed penalty notice, remedial action or a court order.
There's no maximum amount of time a CPN can last. How long civil injunctions and CBOs can last depends on your age. If you're under 18: a civil injunction can last for up to 12 months.
