Panel 10
- Panel 7 (Cocaine, Amphetamine/Meth, Ecstasy, Marijuana, PCP, Opiates – codeine, heroin, morphine, Benzodiazepines, Barbiturates)
- Methaqualone.
- Propoxyphene.
- Methadone or tricyclic antidepressants.
Routine opiate tests reliably detect morphine, codeine, and heroin; however, they usually do not detect other opioids such as hydrocodone, oxycodone, methadone, fentanyl, buprenorphine, and tramadol, unless very high dosages have been taken.
(2) Each confirmatory drug test must provide a quantitative result.
§ 26.163 Cutoff levels for drugs and drug metabolites.
| Drug or metabolites | Cutoff level [nanograms (ng)/mL] |
|---|
| Cocaine metabolites | 300 |
| Opiate metabolites | 2000 |
| Phencyclidine (PCP) | 25 |
| Amphetamines | 1000 |
TYPES OF PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG TESTSTypical drugs screened in a pre-employment urine drug test include marijuana, cocaine, amphetamines and methamphetamines, PCP, opiates, with the option for employers to test for many additional substances.
Test Includes: Amphetamines, Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines, Cocaine, Marijuana, Opiates, Oxycodone, PCP and Alcohol.
You will be tested for the following drugs:
- Marijuana.
- Cocaine.
- Opioids (Codeine, morphine, heroin, hydrocodone, hydromorphone, oxycodone, oxymorphone)
- Phencyclidine (PCP)
- Amphetamines, Methamphetamines, and Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA)
If you are currently job searching, you should expect that you will be drug tested before beginning work at a new job. Typically, testing is done after a conditional offer has been made and before the first day of work.
The 12-Panel Drug Test, which screens for: drugs included in the 10 Panel Drug Test, as well as buprenorphine and oxycodone. Additional testable drugs include: methaqualone, propoxyphene, nicotine, K2 synthetic marijuana, tramadol, tricyclic-antidepressants (TCA), fentanyl, and bath salts.
The best way to contest false-positive results is to reach out to your pharmacist and ask if prescription drugs and OTC medications you take on a regular basis can cause a positive drug test result. Ask if the pharmacist can provide written documentation to this effect and bring a copy to the test site.
Alcohol detection tests can measure alcohol in the blood for up to 6 hours, on the breath for 12 to 24 hours, urine for 12 to 24 hours (72 or more hours with more advanced detection methods), saliva for 12 to 24 hours, and hair for up to 90 days.
Test IncludesAmphetamines; barbiturates; benzodiazepines; cocaine and metabolites; methadone; opiates; oxycodones; phencyclidine (PCP); tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)
Detection times
| Drug | Time detectable in urine |
|---|
| cocaine | 2–4 days |
| amphetamines | 48 hours |
| opioids | 48 hours for heroin 48 hours for codeine 48–72 hours for morphine 2–4 days for oxycodone 3 days for methadone |
| barbiturates | 1 day for short acting (pentobarbital) 3 weeks for long acting (phenobarbital) |
Standard 10-panel test: typically looks for cocaine, marijuana, PCP, amphetamines, opiates, benzodiazepines, barbiturates, methadone, propoxyphene, & Quaaludes.
Delta 8 THC can stay in the blood or urine in detectable concentrations from 2 to 30 days. Many variables can shorten or prolong the period needed for delta 8 to be completely flushed from your system. Hair follicle tests can detect delta 8 THC for the longest duration of time (up to 90 days).
