Don't confuse us with SA Express, says SA Airlink. "Airlink is completely independent and not to be confused with the State-owned feeder airline, SA Express, which the Johannesburg High Court ruled should be placed in Business Rescue."
All Airlink flights are marketed by SAA under the SA code (hence SAA codeshare), but Airlink are not part of Star Alliance. You simply bought an SAA codeshare. FF programs work through the marketing carrier, not operating carrier.
