A Sensible Budget
Aim to spend 100 – 150 euro on events if you buy them from ticket sellers or outside the clubs in Zante. So, that's about 600 euro for a week which is about £500.Taxi to Tsilivi from Kalamaki. About 30 minutes and twenty euros. Yes it's around 20 euro in a taxi but t shouldn't take as long as half an hour to get there. It's only about 6 and half miles.
Kalamaki has a fab strip with plenty of restaurants and bars. All offering different things. Lovely strip and very friendly and very safe. Would very highly recommend this resort as it's also a great location if you have a car, to get around the island.
Kalamaki nightlife is relatively quiet compared to Laganas and Argasi nightlife. There are several bars, pubs and karaoke bars that stay open late.

Well it certainly is in Zante. Everywhere you go there is a bloody beach – sand everywhere, half-naked females in G-strings swanning about. Also, although there are no sharks or jellyfish in the water, you do face having to swim alongside razor clawed, blood-thirsty turtles.Tap water is best avoided. Stick with bottled water or you might end up with the trots lol. The bottled water we use for drinking and making ice for the ouzo!

Firstly, it's easier to pull in a bar in Zante than in a club. Fact. It's quieter giving you more chance to chat and less crowded meaning you're not going to lose her after heading for a waz. Don't approach on your own – it looks weird and like you have no mates.
