Packages under 70 pounds ship starting at $22.50, but that's the price for the flat rate shipping envelope, so it only goes up from there. If your item is heavy and can be squeezed into the flat rate envelope, this will be the cheapest option for you.
Dim weight is the amount of space a package occupies in relation to its actual weight. For each shipment, you are charged based on the dimensional weight or actual weight of the package—whichever is greater.

UPS has established specific weight and size limits for the packages that you send with all UPS services. The restrictions may apply to individual packages. There are no limits to the total weight of your shipment or the total number of packages in your shipment.
USPS Priority Mail offers a cost-effective option when sending items between 1-10 lbs, while FedEx and UPS Ground/Home delivery offer the lowest rates for heavy packages within the US.
Packages must not weigh more than 70 lbs. In most cases, packages may not be more than 108 inches in total length and girth. (130 inches for USPS Retail Ground®.)
The UPS Store charges the same as UPS for shipping. The charge extra for services such as packing.
For rural deliveries, Canada Post is much cheaper, including business situations. For residential delivery in urban areas, Canada Post usually comes out cheaper for business users with large volumes. Does UPS ship to Canada? They do, but I would go with USPS first.

Regardless if it's big or not fedex ground should deliver your packages to your FRONT DOOR! No. "Ground" means they will only deliver to the Ground floor. After that, you're on your own.
