Thanos attacks the Asgardians' shipThat explains why we see so much debris around Thor as he floats in space. That's the remnants of his ship, plus or minus some unfortunately dead Asgardians.
Avengers: Endgame (2019)That Loki is still alive and well, a prisoner of something called the Time Variance Authority, but it's important to note that he may not be as fully developed as the one who died in Infinity War.
Natalie Portman.” Thor: Love and Thunder will be released in 2022.
In Infinity War (the movie after Ragnarok) Thanos invades the ship with his minions and kills almost all of the Asgardian population. We see Hulk, Thor, Loki and Heimdall, but not Miek, Korg and Valkyrie. Later on in Endgame, we learned that somehow Korg, Miek and Valkyrie survived the attack on the spaceship.
At the end of Thor: Ragnarok, Loki stole/saved the Tesseract before the destruction of Asgard, and kept it with him onboard the refugee ship. This was why their small defenseless ship was intercepted by Thanos' at the end of Ragnarok.
Moments later, Loki is murdered by Thanos.Thanos quickly stops the attempt, however, and throttles Loki. Loki's last words are "you'll never be a god," before Thanos discards Loki's dead body. "No resurrections this time," Thanos says, confirming Loki's true death after two fake-out deaths.
In Norse mythology Thor is killed after his battle with the World Serpent, Jormungandr. While he manages to kill him, the poison from the serpents mouth covers Thor killing him.
Laurits is Magne Seier's younger half-brother. He is the reincarnation of Loki, the god of mischief.
In Norse mythology, Móði (anglicized Módi or Mothi) and Magni are the sons of Thor. Their names mean "Angry" and "Strong," respectively. Rudolf Simek states that, along with Thor's daughter Þrúðr ("Strength"), they embody their father's features.
Thor and Sif live with their two children Trud and Modi, but also a stepson named Ullr who Thor adopted. Thor also has a son named Magni with a giantess called Jarnsaxa.
Who are Loki's offspring? With the female giant Angerboda (Angrboda: “Distress Bringer”), Loki produced the progeny Hel, the goddess of death; Jörmungand, the serpent that surrounds the world; and Fenrir (Fenrisúlfr), the wolf. Loki is also credited with giving birth to Sleipnir, Odin's eight-legged horse.
The Eddic poem Hymiskviða has a similar ending to the story, but in earlier Scandinavian versions of the myth in skaldic poetry, Thor successfully captures and kills the serpent by striking it on the head.
Eventually, however, Thor then returned with the newly formed Revengers and then reengaged Hela, which had then resulted with Loki unleashing Surtur, who then destroyed Asgard by finally causing Ragnarök and killed Hela as a result.
Surviving godsHoenir, Magni, Modi, Njord, Vidar, Vali, and the daughter of Sol are all stated to survive Ragnarok.
There are actually four Lokis waiting for him (including Richard Grant and a crocodile). But that's not the important thing for our very specific purposes. What matters here is that Loki is clearly alive and he's surrounded by other Loki variants.
As MCU fans will recall, Thor lost his eye during the culminating battle at the end of Thor: Ragnarok. It is during this fight that Hela slashed out Thor's right eye, leaving him to don an eye patch similar to his father's.
Ragnarok ends with the destruction of Asgard, Thor's home planet. Thor and his brother Loki lead the evacuation of Asgard onto a large ship and debate where they should take their people to settle. Thor suggests Earth — presumably he's unaware that his superhero friends are engaged in a civil war.
Unfortunately, most of them don't make it out alive, thanks to Thanos and his evil minions, who were obviously there to get the Tesseract/Space Stone from Loki. However, it was confirmed by the Russos that an escape pod got away, so at least some of the Asgardians survived and went elsewhere, including Valkyrie.

Following the battle in Sokovia and the defeat of Ultron, Hulk turned his back on Black Widow and the rest of the world. He willingly blasted off into space, and, given the large number of wormholes that lead to Sakaar, his ship eventually landed on the Grandmaster's planet.

Loki didn't die in Thor: The Dark WorldLike his mother Frigga, Loki has a great deal of magic at his disposal, and one of the things he's good at is creating an illusion of himself that can be sent to other locations. At some point during the battle, Loki swaps places with his double, who's the one who died.
Odin transforming Loki's appearance Loki was born on Jotunheim as the son of the Frost Giant King, Laufey. Small and weak for a Frost Giant, Loki was abandoned by his father in a temple, being left to die. In 965 A.D., not long after the war between the Giants and the Asgardians, Loki was found by King Odin.
Thor is in a fight and Loki saves him by impaling the foe with a blade. The enemy then grabs Loki and stabs him with the blade that's sticking out of his chest. We see Loki die (or fake his death). Thor mourns for his brother and he and Jane leave leaving Loki on the ground.
According to Hiddleston, Loki basically “goes through the seventh circle of hell.” He got lost in the wrong places and met unsavory characters in the backstreets and alleyways of the universe. He was also carrying around a “reservoir of pain” from the events of the first Thor.
While Loki died in Avengers: Infinity War, you'll recall that in Avengers: Endgame, a Loki from 2012 successfully stole the Tesseract after the Battle of New York. In Endgame, this forced the Avengers to travel back even further in time to obtain the Space Stone. You can watch the trailer for Loki below.
Loki did not kill Odin. He only ruined Asgard.
Loki's Frost Giant form. Loki was unaware of this: one thought consumed him, and that was what he had discovered about himself on Jotunheim. Having suspicions about his true heritage, he headed to Odin's vault, where he picked up and held the Casket of Ancient Winters.
