Solo players can stick to level one and two raids reliably, as these raid bosses will rarely put up much of a fight. For the level four and five raids, you need to enlist the help of a few buddies. These raids can range from 20,000 boss CP to 50,000, and you will not be able to complete them solo.
And with the right Pokemon and strategy, those Level 3 Raid bosses aren't quite as impossible to beat solo as previously thought. A general consensus has emerged on Reddit that five of the seven Level 3 Raid bosses can be beaten with just one player.
Lapras is by no means soloable, and the minimum recommended group size is 3 or 4 people. Keep in mind that even though Lapras has the lowest CP of all Tier 4 Raid Bosses, its tankiness and typing will make it a good defender and taking it down won't be an easy job.
No need to sugar it up, it's simply impossible. At lv 110 during Legion it was easier to complete solo than at 120 in BfA, and even in Legion I never managed to solo it. Not even with every speedbuff a DH could. I just came close a few times (7% best record).
The current EX Raid Pokémon is Regigigas - though it'll eventually be replaced with Genesect at an unspecified time. Previous EX Raid Pokemon include: Mewtwo (debut, late 2017 to late 2018) Deoxys (all four formes, late 2018 to late 2019)
Yes. You can now solo Legion raids, and they've even updated the Legacy Loot system so that Legion raids use it.

If you're thinking of trying a Tyranitar solo, the premise is quite simple actually: You need 6 “maxed out” Machamps with Counter and Dynamic Punch (3000CP+ is highly recommended), You need Cloudy weather during the fight and. You need to do the “timer trick” to get the full 180 seconds in the fight.
So technically, yes. Solo account, no. Legendary Pokemon are not soloable, Tier 3 is the average max.
Destiny 2 players have once again discovered a glitch that trivializes an aspect of the game, and Destiny 2's latest glitch is perfect for players looking to solo raids. By removing this barrier, a skilled player can take advantage of the ability to fight bosses solo without the largest barrier in the way.
Pokémon Sword & Shield includes new Dynamax Raids — special cooperative battles where you and three allies fight a single giant Pokémon. You don't actually need real players to help you win — it's totally possible to complete 5-Star raids solo, but you'll need to prepare yourself.
They are sent out every week. It might be a good idea to hit up that gym for a raid once a week so you can get yourself eligible for a future invite. Alternatively find your PoGo community and they should have a list of ex raid gyms that occasionally send out invites.
tl;dr: Max Raid Battles were not designed to be played in single-player and thus are extraordinarily hard because the AI of your teammates ends up throwing the fight and I'm sick of it. Ive never felt so angry at game freak.
Minimize time required to re-enter battle
- Leave battle before wiping out to avoid the “all your Pokemon have fainted” screen.
- Use an “A team” battle party if you plan to revive and re-enter with your main team.
- Use a “B team” battle party if you only need a little bit of damage.
2 Star bosses are solo-able if you have the right attack moves against their weaknesses. You probably need about 3 pokemon around 2k or more to do it. Very easy if you're level 25- 30.
We've received reports of developments regarding Shadow Pokémon. Whatever Team GO Rocket is doing seems to be making these poor Pokémon stronger as long as they remain Shadow Pokémon. Shadow Pokémon now deal more damage with their Fast and Charged Attacks, but they also take more damage when attacked.
There's been no mention of a shiny version of Armored Mewtwo being available, but the files for the green variant do exist. It's possible it won't be catchable this time around, though. To take on Armored Mewtwo, a psychic-type, capitalize on bug-, ghost-, and dark-type moves.
Roughly 9 months after its original debut, Deoxys Attack returns to raids. It's still a straightforward solo, but not quite as easy as it was in late 2018 due to various rebalances. For those who are new to shortmanning, you may notice that Deoxys A will regenerate some health while you heal and/or re-enter.
