The smallest size is the toddler model advertised to fit 44-52 cm (17.25-20.5"). Retail is $40 to $45. There is a larger Small Fry, so you have to get the toddler size. Casco Mini Pro: 44cm.
If it fits right, your skin should move as the helmet is moved. You should feel as if a slight, even pressure is being exerted all over your head. Remember, too, that a helmet loosens up a bit as the comfort liner compresses through use. A new helmet should be as tight as you can comfortably wear it.
We have two sizes to choose from: a circumference size 50-54cm, for children 2-5 years old; The other circumference size 54-58cm, for children 6-13 years old.

How to Determine the Right Size
- Select a spot on your forehead that's roughly 1” above your eyebrows.
- Take the measuring tape and wrap it around the widest circumference of your head.
- Write down the measurements in both centimeters and inches.
Each manufacturers sizing is different. SIZE CHART (Circumference of the largest part of the child's head, (usually just above the eyebrows) in inches: Youth Small: 18 to 19, Youth Medium: 19 to 20, Youth Large: 20 to 21, Youth XL: 21 to 22.
To size your child for a helmet, you want to measure their head circumference. You can do this with a cloth measuring tape (easiest option), or by using a string and then measuring it against a ruler. Measure around your child's forehead, just above the eyebrows.
How to size your head for a riding helmet. Using a soft fabric measuring tape, wrap it around the widest part of your head (over your hair). It should follow a line about 3/4 inch above your eyebrows, just above the ear line and around the bump at the back of your head.

Use a seamstress or tailor's measuring tape to measure the circumference of your child's head. Measure between the hairline and eyebrows, just above the ears, and around the largest area at the back of the skull. When taking measurements, the measuring tape should not be overly tight.
All helmet manufacturers design their lids to fit a specific head shape. These often range across three primary designations - long oval, intermediate oval, and round oval. Long Oval - Shaped for a head which is longer front-to-back (from forehead to the back of the skull) than it is side-to-side (ear to ear).
