I've Got a Secret. What's My Line? I've Got a Secret was a panel game show produced by Mark Goodson and Bill Todman for CBS television. Created by comedy writers Allan Sherman and Howard Merrill, it was a derivative of Goodson-Todman's own panel show What's My Line?
Dorothy Kilgallen, Tony Randall,,Steve Allen and Fred Allen are the only regular panelists who also were mystery guests on the CBS version of the show. Bennett Cerf was a mystery guest on the syndicated version.
WHEN DID WHAT'S MY LINE end?
What's My Line? (UK) What's My Line? began on British television in 1951, and the original intention was for Eamonn Andrews and Gilbert Harding to chair the programme on alternate weeks. The concept was simple: Four celebrity panellists tried to guess, from a contestant's mime, his or her line of work.

Two games were played, and each wrong vote paid the challengers $100; $500 was paid if the entire panel had been fooled. No consolation prize was given if the entire panel correctly identified the subject. After the second game, a new game called "One on One" was played with the four impostors from earlier.

Telly's Take
Will ABC cancel or renew To Tell the Truth for season five? This and ABC's other game show revivals have done pretty well for the network so, right now, I think this series will be renewed. *11/20/19 update: ABC has renewed this and six other game shows for Summer 2020.Cast

Who was Bill Cullen married to?
William Lawrence Cullen was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on February 18th, 1920. At 18 months of age, Bill developed polio and was left with a permanent limp (something he later tried to hide on camera with varying degrees of success). He wore a brace on one leg until he was ten.
Cullen had a bad limp from a childhood problem with polio. As an adult game show star, it prevented him from working "on his feet" and the producers of Secret felt that their host had to be able to do that.
The franchise began in 1956 as a television game show hosted by Bill Cullen and was revamped in 1972. This version was originally hosted by Bob Barker. Since 2007, Drew Carey has hosted the program. In the show, contestants compete to win cash and prizes by guessing the pricing of merchandise.
Is Bill Cullen still alive?
From 1956 to 1965, he hosted the initial daytime and primetime versions of The Price Is Right, another Goodson-Todman production. He was also a panelist on I've Got a Secret from 1952 to 1967, and To Tell the Truth from 1969 to 1978, where he also guest hosted on occasion.
