I currently do not own BF1. I know when BF4 came out out they had a mode called Hardcore that was in the multiplayer menu, however they recently changed it and you have to filter servers to find a hardcore match. Again not sure about BF1 or if hardcore is even available yet.

There will not be any Hardcore Mode officialy from DICE in server rotation but there will be some addition for Community Games so you will be able to make your own Hardcore Server. There is no date for Community Games update yet so stay tuned.
If Hardcore Mode will not be in Multiplayer rotation, Im sure players will be able to Create their own Hardcore Server when RSP/Community Games arrive into BATTLEFIELD 2042. 405 hours out of my 407 hours of playtime is hardcore in bf4. Sure hope its still in the game. And hopefully they dont change it up like Hardline tried to do with keeping the health/damage the same as normal.
