Yes, Robbo is really dead in the series Home and Away. In the 2020 season, Robbo's character was involved in a car accident and was taken to a hospital. There, the doctors performed successful surgery on him. However, Robbo later suffered from a haemorrhage and despite the doctors' best efforts to revive him, he died.
It's been a long road for Ben (Rohan Nichol) and Maggie (Kestie Morassi) over the past few months, but after finally getting back together following their separation earlier this year, the couple decided last week that they would make a fresh start in Italy.
There are two main locations where Home and Away is filmed, the studio in Redfern and most of the outdoor scenes at Summer Bay, which is actually Sydney's Palm beach. There are currently no public access to, or tours of, the Redfern studios but the outdoor sets (Palm Beach) are accessible to the public.
Positioned 91m above sea level, the lighthouse can be reached by a couple of walks and offers outstanding views. To get there, take an easy and picturesque walk along Barrenjoey track for 1km. The walk to the top requires moderate fitness and will take about 30 minutes each way from Governor Phillip parking area.
It's about eight weeks between shooting and air date.

National parks are doggy no-go zonesAnd Barrenjoey Lighthouse is out (Station Beach, at the foot of the walking track had a recent off-leash trial, results pending). Technically, it's not in the national park, so dogs are allowed.

Getting to Summer Bay / Palm Beach
- Car. The easiest way to get to Palm Beach is by car, although the traffic can be a pain during peak hours.
- Bus. There are a range of different bus routes you can take to arrive at Palm Beach – all will take over 90 minutes, some as much as 2 hours.
- Ferry + Bus.

The scenes were filmed at Maitland Gaol, located north-west of Newcastle in the Lower Hunter Valley around 100 miles north of Sydney. The section seen most often on screen was the A Wing yard, where Dani had most of her encounters with 'The Guv.
Palm Beach, the most Northern beach of Sydney, is used for the show's exterior scenes in order to depict the Bay. Between 2010 and 2014, the Lane Cove River Tourist Park in Macquarie Park was used as the location for filming of scenes involving the Summer Bay Caravan Park.

Summer Bay caravan park is the main caravan park in Summer Bay. It was bought by Tom and Pippa Fletcher in 1988. It is near Summer Bay House.
It's not possible to drive right up to Barrenjoey Lighthouse. You'll need to walk about 1km to get there, using one of several walking tracks. Toilets and drinking water are located at the parking area.
Palm Beach the film was shot at various locations in the area including Pittwater, The Basin, around Barrenjoey Headland, and at a beautiful private residence designed by architects Susan and Will Rothwell, which serves as the home of character's Frank (Bryan Brown) and Charlotte (Greta Scacchi).
