Eligibility and application for a Low Income Monthly Pass
- Resident of Calgary (proof of address required, PO Boxes, rural route addresses and bank statements are not accepted as proof of residency).
- Meet one of the Fair Entry's eight ways to qualify for this and several other City subsidized programs and services.
If you have already completed the renewal process, you can purchase your new senior annual pass in person, if you'd like, or:

Purchase your pass at ride.edmonton.ca 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Credit card payment (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), along with VISA Debit and Debit Mastercard, are all accepted.

You'll take Route 900 from Rundle LRT station in Calgary, which drops you off at Entrance 2 at CrossIron Mills. Schedules are available from Airdrie Transit and Calgary Transit, and also available if you're navigating using Google Maps on your phone.

A transfer must be requested when you pay your fare and can only be used by the person to whom it was issued. Transfers are valid on any regular bus route on the date of issue and allow travel in any direction, including return trips on the same route until the expiry time shown.
Where do I get a peggo card? You can buy Peggo cards at many different stores like 7-11 and Shoppers Drug Mart or at Transit Service Centres.
As of Jan. 1, 2020, the price for a trip on the bus is increasing by five cents to $3 for a full cash fare and $2.50 for seniors and youths. Prices are slightly lower for bus tickets or e-cash fares, at $2.65 for adults and post-secondary students, $1.88 for youths, and $1.33 for seniors.

The sliding scale has three price bands. For 2020 the prices are: $5.45, $38.15 and $54.50 per month dependent on how much a customer earns.
The C-Train is not free, with the exception of the free fare zone on 7th Avenue in downtown Calgary (details below). Access to the C-Train is on the proof-of-payment ("honour") system, so you don't need to pay to go through a gate or a turnstile to get to the platform.
You can also call customer service at 403-262-1000 and ask them to plan a trip for you. On the YYC Transit app simply enter where you are starting your trip from in “departing from” and where you are heading in “destination.” Use the time feature to select what time you would like to leave or arrive at the destination.
CTrain is a light rail transit system in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It began operation on May 25, 1981 and has expanded as the city has increased in population. The system is operated by Calgary Transit, as part of the Calgary municipal government's transportation department.
