High blood pressure has happened with AndroGel (testosterone gel). If you have high blood pressure or heart disease, talk with your doctor. Treatment with AndroGel (testosterone gel) may lead to higher cholesterol and triglycerides. The effect of these changes on heart health is not known.
Short-acting testosterone injections are associated with greater risk of cardiovascular events, hospitalizations, and death compared with gels or patches, according to a large retrospective cohort study published online in JAMA Internal Medicine.
Serious Side Effects of Androgel

Common side effects may include:
