Open Outlook and go to the “File” tab. Now, choose “Cleanup Tools” and select “Archive” from the drop-down menu. A pop-up window will appear on the screen with all the folders of Outlook, select the specific folder that you want to move to archive mailbox. Archive Older Messages
The archive. pst file can be created and updated at any location you specify, usually your local hard drive. Archived items are removed from your Outlook mailbox size and moved to the archive file based on the settings you determine.Mail creates an Archive mailbox in the Mail sidebar for each account whose messages you're archiving, and moves the messages there. The Archive folder is no different than any other folder that you might create and has no abilities beyond any other folder.
