Wu doesn't die. He is just knocked out. That syringe was for tranquilizing dinosaurs. The same syringe is used by Ken Wheatley to knock out Owen when he meets Blue in the jungle.
Following the death of his actor, Pete Postlethwaite, it is unlikely that Tembo will appear in future live-action films.
It was destroyed by the Tyrannosaurus Rexy during the Isla Nublar Incident of 2015. It was also one of the dinosaurs included in the holoscape of the Innovation Center, though it is unknown if Spinosaurus ever actually lived in Jurassic World.

The first book in the 'Jurassic Park Adventures' series - 'Survivor' - is canon. It tells us Ben died of internal injuries. Although interestingly, there was a scrapped scene for Jurassic Park OIL where Eric would watch Velociraptors kill Ben and film them running off.
The T-rex wasn't originally in the cargo hold. It was in that big steel cage that was sitting on the deck of the boat. The T-rex broke out of the cage, killed a bunch of people, and then chased people into the cargo hold or something, and a dying crew member closed the cargo doors.
In the end Dennis Nedry was hired by a competiting organization/company for industrial espionage, to steal the embryos. So producing some disaster by turning off the fences could on the one hand help him escape unnoticed or at least unbothered.
But pteranadons attacked the ship. In the opening scene of Jurassic Park 3, a boat crew is mysteriously killed by something that lurks in the fog. As Ben Hildebrand rises into the air on a parasailer with his girlfriend's son Eric Kirby, the pair are having a blast.

The Lost World: Jurassic Park | 1997. Funny, nobody in Jurassic Park mentioned 'Isla Sorna' – Site B. And, if the T-Rex heading to San Diego was held below deck, what ran rampage on the ship and shredded the crew? Plot holes apart, the sequel to Steven Spielberg's summer blockbuster is a hugely enjoyable ride.
Jurassic World 3: Dominion is currently scheduled to release on Friday 10th June 2022, after being delayed by a full year due to delays caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
