It was the first 2P game that truly created a competitive environment. The multiple styles of play, the generally open movement that other fighters before it like Yie Ar Kung Fu and Karate Champ lacked, and the unique characters really gave this game an appeal that people are still trying to emulate.
Easy, he says HADOUKEN!!! It's his signature attack and it translates to “Surge Fist” or “Wave Motion Fist”. Both he and Ken were taught this move by their master, Gouken.
Akuma made his debut in Super Street Fighter II Turbo, the fifth arcade iteration of the Street Fighter II games, where he appears as a hidden and unnamed character.
He's capable of shrugging off blows that would seriously injure most people. He's strong enough to pick up and pile-drive 1500 pound bears. In fact, he's so strong that he can easily injure opponents that aren't world class fighters. Therefore, Zangief usually only fights other world warriors.
dhalsim is not that good. outside of the high pressure top tier characters, he also has a hard time dealing with command grab set play style characters like laura mika alex, this is a huge departure to his sf4 version. he can't reversal teleport or super against grabs since they are both grabable.
Sagat: mix up low and high fireballs from full screen only: as honda will fly through withjab headbutt if close and hit your hands. If honda is flying over your low fireballs throw more fast ones. When he builds his super stop throwing fireballs and get ready to jump back to corner with roundhouse.

Gouken succeeded in defeating his younger brother Akuma twice in the past before nearly dying the 3rd time and being defeated by Akuma's Shun Goku Satsu (Raging Demon) technique.
Goku destroys Akuma, if you seriously want a reason, feel free to reply. Goku wins horribly, even using his start of DBZ form.
Oni Akuma appears to be a super-powered version of Akuma. His full official name is Kuruoshiki Oni which means "Mad Demon". Due to his training and meditation, Akuma may have suppressed some of the darker aspects of the Satsui no Hado, allowing him to control his actions.

Ryu is not related to Akuma, no. Akuma is another student who trained under the same master as Ryu's master did, but he went insane after messing with the satsui no hadou and using its power to fuel his lust for strength and domination. Akuma is his master's younger brother.
Akuma came off as a total badass, since he not only killed Gouken and Bison, but it was incredibly likely that he took out Gen and Adon as well.
Goku is at his strongest (in DBZ) and Akuma is at his strongest (in any canon SF). Goku would absolutely decimate any Akuma with the utmost ease.
Oro fights with one arm magically binded, so potentially Oro is more powerful than Akuma, though they were just playing during the fight they had.
During the major fights against the Secret Society, Akuma emerges and throws a Hadoken at Ryu (who had absorbed the Satsui no Hado from Sakura earlier), causing the latter's evil form to emerge, while the former unleashes all his power to transform into Oni; the two powerful forces clash at each other in a epic fight.
Ryu can't beat Akuma. Not yet.
Because Psycho Power that's in Bison's body is, by itself, more than all the power in Gill's body. Ryu destroys bison. So that makes ryu the strongest character according to your logic.
Ken has always been the second heir to Anatsuken along with Ryu, and supposedly he learned the entire style faster than Ryu did, became the greatest fighter in the USA, then went into semi-retirement once his son was born.
Goku wins no matter how powerful Ryu would become. Saiyans are naturally stronger than humans to the point where even the weakest Saiyans can kill the strongest humans. Meaning that even kid Goku at the start of Dragon Ball could beat Ryu.
Well canonically Sagat is actually stronger than Ryu. The Metsu Shoryuken was a sucker punch since Sagat believed the fight to be over when Ryu launched it. He didn't even have a Tiger Uppercut (a move he developed to match Ryus' Shoryuken).
In the 1994 film adaptation Street Fighter, Charlie is amalgamated with the character of Blanka to form the character Carlos "Charlie" Blanka, a Brazilian friend of Colonel Guile and a soldier in his unit, who is taken prisoner in Bison's Shadaloo compound.
5 RYU/ EVIL RYUAn odd distinction about Ryu and other fighting game mascots is that Ryu undeniably is not the strongest character in his franchise. As his hypothetical Evil Ryu incarnation shows, he definitely has the capacity to unleash some scary power upon the world.
So, the short answer is no. No, you cannot throw a fireball in real-life using nothing but sheer willpower and spirit energy. A proper hadouken, which as far as I know is only a thing in Street Fighter, is basically using chi (body/spirit energy, sometimes ki, or even qi) to throw a fireball.
11 Ryu Loves Chun-LiJoe. The most infamous Street Fighter comic book has to be the one released by Malibu in 1991. Ryu and Chun-Li do have feelings for each other, but he is too obsessed with his training to commit to a relationship.
Later, he was diagnosed with leukemia, and did not have much time to live. Gen did not blame his loss in the first tournament on his illness. However, Akuma sensed that Gen was terminally ill, making it an unfair fight. Thus, Akuma decided to end the match, leaving him to his fate.
He has a game-breaking bug and must be banned for that reason alone. The bug is that he makes an opponent block an air fireball, if he lands and does his Raging Demon super while they're still in blockstun, the opponent has only a 25% chance to jump out.
Akuma has a demon/devil complex. He believes himself to be pure evil in every way. However, he's shown to be merciful, honorable, and even helpful towards others.
Capcom retconned Gouken's apparent death during his battle with Akuma. In Gouken's animated opening he reveals that after losing in battle to Akuma, he did not die but was simply rendered unconscious for an extended period of time.
