When sending a confirmation email, it is best to use the proper salutation and the person's name and title along with it. Some email uses the traditional “Dear Ms./Mr.” followed by their last name. Write the confirmation statement directly in the first paragraph. There's no need for introductions.
How to Confirm Email Address
- Go to the "Email Tab" in your Account Settings page on the Scratch Website.
- If you created your account after the update, the email is already sent. If not, click "Send".
- Log into your email account.
- You should find your email asking you to confirm. Click "Confirm my email address".

- While you're creating your account, you'll get an email from Google. Open the email and find the verification code.
- To finish creating your account, enter the verification code when prompted.
When you register an account, an email is sent to your email address to verify your account. If you have not received a confirmation email, try to re-send it from the My Account page. Remember to check your spam or junk folders, as this email could have ended up there.
Confirmation emails are sent to customers automatically after a certain condition is triggered, such as, placing an order, booking tickets, subscribing to a newsletter, registering for a webinar, etc. The email usually confirms information about an order, subscription, booking, registration, etc.
“Please confirm upon receipt” is the correct sentence. This sentence is asking the recipient to tell the person who sent the item to confirm or tell them that they have received the item. Means: “kindly, acknowledge receipt of this email” or “Please confirm receipt”. It is often used in letters and emails.

To resend the email on the PayPal app:
- Tap the Settings cog in the top right corner.
- Tap Personal Info.
- Tap Email addresses.
- Tap the email address you want to confirm, then tap Resend confirmation.
They do have a direct phone number and email — their contact phone number is (650) 543-4800, and their contact email is — but it's unlikely you'll get a human response through these channels.
Note: Emails sent within the last 14 days related to your account security and login can be found under Security, and all other emails can be viewed under Other. Also, official Instagram messages about account security will only be sent to your email address, and won't be sent to you through Direct Messaging.
Now, if you receive an email claiming to be from Instagram, you can check if it's genuine by heading over to the “Emails from Instagram” option in the app's Security settings, which lists every email the service has sent you over the last 14 days.
Scams on Instagram happen when people create fake accounts or hack into existing Instagram accounts you've followed. The scammers use these fake or compromised accounts to trick you into giving them money or personal information.
So, Instagram doesn't always alert me that someone has logged in? No, unless you've set up two-factor authentication it is possible that you won't receive any notification at all.
If someone used your email address to sign up for an Instagram account, they you would've had to verify your email. If they haven't by now, then the account will most likely have been shut down by now.
Instagram has no mechanism for checking someone else's DMs. As the name Direct Message may indicate, the whole system is designed to be private, direct, and person to person.
Instagram will also occasionally send you emails or text messages. To customize these, go back to the main settings screen and then select “Email and SMS Notification Settings”. Turn off any emails or SMS messages you don't want to receive.
It means someone's trying to login to the account from a place or a device different to the one that the account is used to be accessed from. Instagram thinks that this might be an attempt to hack the account and flag it.

In specific cases, Instagram will ask for email confirmation at login. This allows Instagram to confirm you're the owner of the email address in the account profile. However, at this point you may still not receive the password change email, so you need to repeat steps 1 and 2 to send the email again.
Solving “help us confirm that you own this account” issue on Instagram login
- If you are logged in Instagram with some account you need to log out.
- Check your email and find message from Instagram.
- Enter new password, confirm and don't do anything on Instagram.
