Unique Role. A Unique Role is a role that is limited to 1 player per game. For most of them, there can never be two in one game; the Godfather and Mafioso can be inherited, but even for those, only one of each can be alive at once.
The Executioner wins by getting his target lynched. After your target is lynched, you win, meaning that it doesn't matter what happens to you, whether you are killed or lynched, even if the Executioner is revived by a Retributionist. The only time you will lose and your target is lynched is in the event of a Draw.
A completely fresh-off-the-bus juggernaut (one with no kills), can kill a pestilence. nothing can kill pestilence. A juggernaut can if it's fully powered up. It's last upgrade is to ignore all defense.
Strategy. As a Mafioso, your job is to kill anyone who would oppose the Mafia without being caught. If the Godfather dies, you will become the new leader of the Mafia. So, if it appears that Godfather will die or be lynched soon, you should start to take control.
Prior to Version 2.1. 5, Guardian Angels could not be added more than once in custom role lists despite not being a Unique Role.
Your target will always be a Townie. It cannot be the Mayor or Jailor.
Claim to be a Sheriff and list random non-Vampires as Mafia. Claim to be a Lookout and say you saw a non-Vampire visit someone the night they were murdered. Claim to be an Investigator and accuse someone of a suspicious role list, like Framer/Vampire/Jester (/ Hex Master). You can even claim to have been a Spy.
Note that Vampire Hunter is not a unique role; while it is somewhat rarer than other roles due to the fact that it requires Vampires, it's as common as any other once you know Vampires are present.
Hello Townies! Vampires are a new faction that wants to bite or kill all Town, Mafia, Arsonists, SerialKillers and Werewolves. If a role without night immunity is bitten by a Vampire, that role will turn into a Vampire. The Spy can hear Vampires talk at night.
Traitor Escorts cannot be tracked by Spies, and won't show up as suspicious in Sheriff checks. If the Witch is alive and the Vigilante comes out, begin to role block them, claiming you are doing so to prevent Witch from using Vigilante. Mayor Traitors are powerful, yet are often sought by Town because of their ability.
Witch VictoryWitches do not win during Town victories or during any draw, even if there are no Townies left alive. In any situation with an alive Vigilante or multiple Witches, the game will continue unless either role is killed. In a 1v1 situation against a Vigilante without bullets, the Witch will win.
When the sheriff is investigated by an investigator, the words "Your target is waiting for the perfect moment to strike. They could be the Sheriff, Executioner or Werewolf," will come up. If a consigliere investigates the sheriff, the words "Your target is a protector of the town. They must be a Sheriff," will come up.
