Applications for all UCAS Undergraduate courses, except those with a 15 October deadline, should arrive at UCAS by 18:00 (UK time) on 15 January 2021.
You have 14 days – starting on the date the automatic decline was recorded – in which the automatic decline can be swapped. Please call us in these 14 days to resolve this. After 14 days, it may still be possible, but we will need permission from the universities you want to accept offers from before we can do so.
Can you accept more than one university offer? In the US, you “seal the deal” by providing a non-refundable deposit to the university, typically by May 1st. You can accept multiple offers, but don't expect to get your deposits back.
If you miss the 30 June deadline, you can still apply. It does mean that your application will go straight into the Clearing pool, but with more than 60,000 students finding their uni place via Clearing every year, that's not necessarily a bad place to be.
It's really important to know that all applications received by universities before the 15 January 2020 Ucas deadline are guaranteed to be given equal consideration, regardless of when you submit. Lots of courses will still have places that you can apply for after the deadline.
Of course you can. You can choose not to attend a university any time from the day you get admitted to the day you graduate. Usually when you accept a university's offer of admission, you must include a deposit towards tuition. If you later decide not to enroll, you will likely lose the deposit.
Can I reply to more than two offers? You can accept a maximum of two choices – one firm and one insurance. You can only have an insurance choice if your firm choice is a conditional offer.
Most colleges have status checks through their undergraduate admissions offices website. The confirmation that tells you they have received your application usually will have a website login and password so only you can see at what stage of the process your application is.
