A toaster oven is more energy-efficient than a regular oven, and it can brown and crisp foods in a way a microwave can't. From whole eggs still in their shells (what?!) to pizza, fish, kebabs, and muffins, here's how to use your toaster oven for more than just toast.

Yes. Can you cook meat in a toaster oven? A toaster oven is a smaller version of a conventional oven and can be used to bake, grill, toast, warm any variety of foods that a conventional stove/oven can, just smaller amounts.
Don't let the aluminum foil touch the sides of the toaster oven. Never cover the crumb tray of your toaster oven with foil as it raises the temperature immensely. If your oven is aluminum foil safe and you can cover the crumb tray with the foil, don't let grease and other things accumulate on it.
Heat a heavy, oven-safe skillet or grill pan over high heat on the stovetop. Sear the patties for about 2 to 3 minutes on each side, just enough to brown them. Transfer the pan to the oven and bake for about 10 to 15 minutes longer, or until the burgers reach a food-safe internal temperature of at least 160 F.
